very good price
Nice blower/vaccuum witha very good price. I have used it only a couple of tiems but has worked as I would have liked it to. I will be using the mulching /vaccuum function this week. Read some reviews about the reliability scare for this blower/vac, although I have not experienced any such problem, yet. It is light and easy to operate, and the blower speed is fast
Good blower, so-so vac
I bought this mainly for the vac feature to suck up leaves. It works well for dry small to medium size leaves. If the leaves are damp or large, it does not work as well. Sometimes gets jammed with small twigs etc that find their way in. Mulching feature works well and does reduce the volume of the leaves. It's loud, make sure to wear ear protection.

This one Really Works
I had an unknown brand of Charcoal Chimney and had given up on using it.I was using Electric Starters instead of Lighter Fluid.I was discussing this with a friend at work and he told me how great the Chimney was.I found the problem was that he had the Weber chimney.I decided to give it a try and it worked perfectly the first time.Within 15 minutes I had a chimney full of hot coals.

What a Great Product
I got this to go with my Weber Smokey Mountain Grill.This thing is amazing.A couple of sheets of newspaper, a few charcoal briquets and a match and less than 15 minutes later, a grill full of glowing coals!!I never got this kind of result with charcoal starter.The only downside:No volcano effect from tossing the match at the charcoal starter and no re-growing of eyebrows from the ball of fire from starting with charcoal starter.
If you like lighter fluid tasting food - don't get this
I have never really cooked with charcoal. I have always used gas. I ran out of gas one day, but I had a bag of charcoal, so I thought I would give it a go. Well, half a container of lighter fluid later and a little burnt hair, I had half cooked hot dogs and some spoiled steaks.

It converts in a few seconds to avacuum by removing the inlet tube and cover; just hook the front of thevacuum tube on and snap. Toro blower /vac a plus
I bought the Toro to replace my old blower/vac that have finally given out after years of hard use. I was pleasantly surprised by the Toro. The Toro blower is easy to use and the dial settings are more convenient that the slide switch of my old blower. Converting from blower to vac is also easier than it was on my old model. The power of the blower is excellent. The vac is very good. The price was right. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

A lot of power for a very small price
I haven't even tried the vacuum yet, but I'm blown away (no pun intended) by the power of this blower.It took me just a couple of minutes to have my very long driveway looking fantastic.

Power is split into two levels: "adequate", and "just showin' off".I prefer the "adequate" level for the large leaves from my maple, unless I purposely want them to end up in my neighbors yard.For vacuuming up the piles and general clean-up, I use the "just showin' off" level as the leaves when I vacuum are usually slightly damp, and are somewhat large maple leaves.

I bought 2 and will buy more
My wife hates bugs, and I bought this for her. But I liked it so much I ordered another one and will buy more for my parents. The best thing about Bug Zapper is that you don't have to deal with the 'bug juice' (if you swat them), and you don't need to wait for the bugs to land and wait for your swat. I even used it near a bee hive, and it was the best defense against them. A few cautions - 1) don't zap yourself, it's pretty painful, 2) don't hit metal objects, you'll see sparks flying (incl. some windows - "Low-E" windows have metallic coating), 3) you can't kill fruit flies with this zapper since it has horizontal bars that these small bugs pass through. However, you can find double or triple meshed version on ebay or sharper image if you have the urge to kill all sizes of bugs. 4) some big bugs need extended roasting - I've seen a few biggies come back to life after a brief coma.
This is the one to get!Don't get the newer "safety" model!

Works great, very easy to use
Not sure why others are calling it cheaply made.I put one up about 6 months ago, it looks great, it works great, and the rope is plenty strong for what it needs to do.I am extremely pleased, and I'm going to buy another one very soon.

Great idea but Poor quality
I love the concept here but have an issue with the screws, rope, and rivets like many others. It's very obvious that these are made with the cheapest quality parts and yes they're from CHINA. I've got two of them up and functioning from the box but would certainly be nervous to leave a bike hanging over something valuable (like a car).

These hangers are light duty (50lb) and work exactly as advertised.Although others had complained about the ropes being frayed, mine seemed to be of acceptable quality.The screws were cheap and easily stripped out, so I had to use a few of my own.They worked fine for my kid's bikes.They're good, not great, but they are very nicely priced (especially with free shipping).I would buy again. ... works for me in boston
I have kids so I didn't want to deal with gas, instead bought the 1800.This snow thrower is great for light to moderate weight snow up to eight inches deep.Heavier denser, wet snow would be tougher but it still gets the job done.In this condition I would shovel when it's around 4 inches.
Snow in July?
I am unable to fairly review the snow thrower at this time(June) so I have given it a neutral three. It is possible, here in Minnesota, that I may have a thorough review as early as September 10.

Leaf Blower
What a machine. Lots of power. The vacuming is great. Goes right into garbage can and I can then easily take it to the garden for mulch. Love it.

Good only for a few applications
I think the concept of this hose is a good one. Carrying the vacuum bag for the Leaf Hog over your shoulder is cumbersome, and having to empty the vacuum bag so frequently becomes old very quickly. But I found that the Leaf Hog didn't have strong enough suction to warrant the use of this hose attachment. It took me quite a while to suction up the pile of leaves that I had raked from out from under some shrubs, and I think using a rake or shovel to scoop the leaves up would have saved a lot of time. I felt that the canvas sack on the end of the hose that attaches to the trash can did stay attached fairly well (I have a square-shaped opening on my trash can), and the hose seems fairly durable. I suspect a longer hose would get clogged too easily, so I had no problem with the hose's length. But I feel that the only really good use for the Leaf Hog and this hose attachment would be to vacuum up really fine particles (such as hemlock needles) that would otherwise be difficult to rake. If you find that your Leaf Hog offers strong enough suction to get leaves up easily, then I would recommend this item because it makes the leaf-vacuuming process much lighter since you don't have to lug a heavy leaf bag over your shoulder while vacuuming with the Leaf Hog. But I will be going back to the old rake-and-scoop method.

Fit like a glove

What's the weather?
We have one of these in our entrance; the outdoor probe is by the front door, an indoor probe in the room and we look at it all the time. I always check the indoor temp to see how the AC needs to be adjusted (we like no more than 10 degrees below outdoor temp) and I look to see what it's doing outdoors. It's right by our stairs and I can't even imagine not having it. I use it all the time.

I purchased two WS-9013U wireless stations. I put one remote sensor outside and have the two inside stations in different rooms displaying the information from the one remote sensor. So I have have a spare sensor if anything ever happens to the first one. Everything works great and the display is very readable, up close or from a distance.

Very much satisfied with Weber Q 200
Brought mine last week and already cooked thrice so far. Excellent results, cant stop loving the Weber Q 200.

Some limitations
This is a good grill.However, to be honest, it is a little underpowered when compared to a good full size gas grill.That's the sacrifice you have to make when you want portability.Also, because part of the grid is the deflector shield for the flame, there are parts of the grid that are not open to below and becomes hard to clean.Finally, there is no way to beat the power and flavor of charcoal, so I still use charcoal once in awhile even though I have two gas grill.

Overpriced, underpowered, faulty
Our Q200 arrived with a faulty ignition system.Since purchasing we saw a review of this item in the local paper, and their's also had a faulty ignition system.We reported the problem to Weber which quickly sent out -- a replacement, but sent the part for a different model.So we are still lighting by hand.The Weber does cook food well, but remember that unless you spring for the Q300 you get only one burner, and no warming plates -- fine if you are cooking a few burgers, but a problem if you are cooking multiple items.It means that you have to magically cook everything so that it is done simultaneously in order to keep all items warm.I can only assume that all the positive reviews come from people who have never cooked with gas before, and are thrilled at the easy and even cooking that this, and most gas BBQs provide.But anyone with experience with a larger home unit providing multiple burners will find the Q Series a frustrating experience. ... My daughter loves it...

I just got this product and used all 3 tools in the package. The most impressive tool is the trimmer.This trimmer just ROCKS. The motor is powerful; the trim line is auto-fed!! I can do both edging (bed not sidewalk) and trimming in my yard.I just love the trimmer so much that I weeded my neighbor's yard too.Cordless just rocks. Sanity Saver
This product has everything you need for a power outage.I was out of power for a week and the batteries lasted the whole time.When you do lose power everything you need is right there, no more searching through a dark house.The great thing about this is that you get TV stations to listen to so you can hear the local weatherman and know what is going on.It also has a spot to plug in things like cell phone chargers.It made the inconvenience of a power outage much easier.

BLACK AND DECKER STORM STATION
I take the Storm Station everywhere i travel...plug it in at the end of the day...power is always there....depending on where you are the reception is good to excellent...i have never been to a place where i cant get at least 1 tv channel or the weatherband.. AM and FM ..is always there...so i find this unit has the options i was looking for and they exceed my expectations...emergency light and flashlight give excellent lighting....havent used the other options...hope i dont have too....

Last Christmas, I bought 5 of these. While most of our friends and family here in St. Pete have just started using them for the hurricane season, we have had ours plugged in since day 1. Although we have had no hurricanes yet, our electricity has gone out twice in the early morning hours, and the Storm Station light came on and awoke me once, and I noticed it one time on an middle-of-the-night trip to the bathroom. This unit warned us of the outage, and saved us from sleeping past our wake up time, being late for work, etc. I disagree with the post w/ only one star. When the electricity goes out, one needs light, and communication (cell phone AND radio/TV band). Who cares if you have to go w/o coffee for one morning? Incorrect readings and looks cheap
I opened the box and followed the instructions mentioned. Waited for 15 minutes but nothing happened. Had to set the time manually.
Good product
I've had one of these for a couple of months now.I'm in AZ and it syncs with the atomic clock well.The projection works perfectly at night.I don't like ANY light in my room at night and it just puts out a faint red time and outside temp on the ceiling.It is not annoying at all.But it is also not bright enough to overcome any light.The projection is not readable in the day at all and the little light in the unit can't be set to stay on, so sometimes it's a little hard to read in the morning.

One of my favorite gadgets
This is useful and fun, what more could you ask ? You can use one or two probes. The probes are connected to the transmitter, you then turn on the remote, then the transmitter. I use it for everything, steaks, chops, whatever. I go into the living room and watch the remote. When the temperature gets over about 100 I turn the meat over if necessary. The only thing I have noticed is the temperatures that trigger the audible alarm are set too high, likely thanks to lawyers. For example, when I set it to medium rare for beef, it was more like medium. Now I set it on rare ( 140 ) and get a perfect medium rare. For pork the number is 170. I take it off at 160. After all, it continues to cook after it is taken off. Before I bought this I used to guess but now I get perfect results every time. Highly recommended.

THE best wireless transmitter for the money
This transmitter works flawlessly. The dual-probes let you track two meats - or if you are like me and like to cook things at low (200-250 degree) temperatures it is invaluable to free you from having to sit next to the grill the whole time.
Don't waste your money.
This would be a fantastic item - if only it would work! I followed the instructions exactly and repeatedly for set up.It works great for about 20 minutes, then it loses the remote signal from the probes even when the receiver is located 15 feet away from my smoker. The signal won't come back until I go through set up, re-entering every setting only to lose the signal again in about 20 minutes. 20 Pound Tank Adapter works GREAT!
Weare a family of 2 and the small Weber Q grill is perfect for us.Since we cook mostly at home, the tank adapter saves us money because we don't need to purchase little bottles of propane unless we are travelling with it.It offers great flexibility and I highly recommend this item.

tip for using this adapter
When we first hooked up the hose and ignited our weber, it lit right up.But then the flame was uneven and wouldn't stay lit.It turns out that after you hook it up and open the propane valve, you have to wait 60 seconds before igniting the grill.It does say it in the directions, but of course, we didn't read those first.

Simple and effective product
There shouldn't be much to say about a grill cover, but it fits the grill so well that I wanted to submit this review.I like that I can move the grill around even with the cover on.There's a circular "target" on the top of the cover so that you position the cover properly every time.It's a good design and well worth the price.You may find it cheaper at retail stores than online.

Good electric mower
I just purchased my 3rd Black & Decker lawnmower.My current mower was the MM850, which is almost the same except in green, and it was purchased in 1989 and has operated without repair, and is still running, but will be used at my weekend home.
Impressed with the power
I recently moved into a house with a garden so for the first time ever I had a lawn that needed to be cut.The previous people hadn't bothered.So when I bought this lawn mower I wasn't sure what to expect.I have to say though I was very impressed.It was cutting grass that was knee high without too many problems.I did take a star off however because not all the clippings went into the bag.And although for me an amateur this is not a problem I can see it would drive others crazy.But if you want something to just keep your grass short without the worry of gas. I would recommend this item as you can plug in and go!

No more fighting to start up.
I love the fact that to start this mower, all you do is plug it in and pull the start-up handle back. No more yanking on a cord to hopefully get the gas powered mower to start.

Weber 9857 grill cover Complaint
I purchased the Weber 9857 Premium Gas Grill Cover that fits Genesis Silver B, Genesis 1000, Spirit 700 and Weber 900 on 8/11/06 for my new Weber Silver B. When it arrived I was shocked to see a fine mesh covered opening that is aprox 2" high and runs the full length of the grill on the front and back and is just above the handle and also the bottom of the lid. Guess what happens when it rains? Yep, doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out, water pours in under the lid and into the burners and storage space at the bottom.
Great cover
I bought the cover even after reading the reviews about rain water getting in through the mesh vents.It fits my Genesis Silver B barbecue perfectly. I noticed that the cover can be adjusted slightly after it is placed onto the barbecue.With only minor adjustments, the venting mesh can be positioned in such a way that rain water misses the barbeque unit itself.Yes, rain water does come through the vents, but it falls harmlessly to the ground.I haven't seen what happens when there is lots of wind, along with the rain, however.Perhaps in that situation, some water will fall onto the barbecue unit.

Rain Gets In??
I am surprised at the number of people that like this cover. I have had many grills and covers and have always wanted to cover my grills to protect them from the rain and snow. I bought this cover knowing it was too expensive, but liked the fit and quality. I was amazed to see the mesh band on front and back. It rained the day after I first used it and sure enough the grill was wet and the water had run into the storage area also. I had to wipe it dry. I then returned it. A cover that lets in the rain???
