1-0 out of 5 stars Not safe, EZ-UP doesn't uphold warantee
I had an "EZ-UP" 10x10' shelter in my back yard, and when one crossbar broke, it broke 2 others. If anyone had been sitting in the chair in my back yard, they'd have become a shishcabob from the cheap thin metal used to make these canopies. Although EZ-UP sells products on their web site to facilitate holding these canopies down in the wind, they do NOT cover ANY "wind or rain damage," and although this, in my view, was NOT a factor of why the frame failed, the company's first response when I called to get a return authorization after it failed only after about 8 months of use, they quickly stated "we don't cover wind or rain damage, cut me off, and had apparently NO reguard for anyone's safety, stating that if it was raining or even in the slightest wind (I think it failed in around 2 mph "winds"), their "warantee" did not cover it! They said I could send it in and THEY would determine (after paying an outrageous sum of money to send it back) IF they might replace it, but that they likely would not. The people at the company were rude, had NO concern that their product had some safety issues, and so I'm looking to buy something less expensive, and that lasts longer! INteresting, they told me that they don't cover ANY wond or rain "damage", yet they also sell hold-downs & it states on their web site (& apparently in directions that I never received with mine) NOT to fold it up if it was wet, but to leave it up!

I had a MUCH less expensive shade that latested MUCH longer and I'd recommend others to do the same, or to buy an industrial model that CLEARLY stated in their warantee that the product can withstand wind up to "x" mph & that it is made to withstand rain as well.

After my experience with this company's product, and their staff in the returns dept., I would avoid ever buying one of these again! I received mine as a gift (that cost my friend over $200!)

There are MUCH better, sturdier, and safer canopies out there.

If I could give this product a zero or negative score, I would!

These canopies are NOT NEARLY as sturdy as I recall them being years ago (or perhaps that was another brand?)

I expect these canopies will be recalled in time due to safety issues.

I would STRONGLY recommend buying something less expensive and sturdier!

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Product!
Even the first time you put this up, it only takes 5 minutes. It does require 2 people though. Putting it away is even easier. The rolling case it comes with is convenient and a perfect fit. A must-have for all families!

5-0 out of 5 stars a must have for outdoor parties and camping trips
The quality of the e-z up dome has exceeded my expectations.I anticipate we will have the e-z up dome for many years of use.We had previously purchased a screen tent that took nearly an hour to put together and fell apart. We spent about 40 dollars on sale for that piece of junk. The dome takes two people no more than five minutes to fully assemble. When we took back the screen tent we decided to spend the money and get a quality product. The blue dome has survived three camping trips (one in the rain) and several outdoor barbeques. It has also come in handy in the yard overtop the kiddie pool to provide some shade. We plan to purchase the screen for the dome from the manufacturer on their website (costly though). If I could give it 10 stars I would.Oh and by the way, the storage case it comes with fits it perfectly. So taking it down and putting it away is also a breeze. ... Editorial Review

Weber's Q hybrid gas grill has a uniquely funky design that allows it to serve equally well as a compact portable grill or as a full featured backyard grill at home. Its generous 280 square-inch porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grate offers plenty of grilling acreage for a pile of burgers, strip steaks, hot-dogs or a fish nearly as big as the one that got away. The lid offers a 7-inch tall capacity and can cover foods as big around as a whole chicken. At the same time, the Q folds up to only 31-1/2 inches for easy carrying, and the Q's glass reinforced nylon frame helps keep it lightweight without sacrificing strength or durability. It has two durable fold out side wings with built in tool holders to serve as work tables, and the lid on the handle is heat resistant, and large enough to offer an easy grip even when you're wearing a grilling mitt. There's an infinitely adjustable burner valve with a high quality regulator to allow for complete control of cooking temperatures, a push-button ignition for easy reliable lighting, and the Q is fueled by a standard 14.1 ounce propane cylinder (not included). The lid and body are made of durable cast aluminum, and have built in drip ducts to channel away juices and drippings, which then collect on an easy to reach and easy to clean lower tray. --Brian Trinen ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great backup grill.
This is the right grill to have as the backup to the full size Weber kettle grill when it's raining or (where I live) snowing. It is easy to assemble and easy to clean. It folds up so you can tuck it away on a garage shelf.

This is not a great primary grill because it just doesn't get all that hot.It generates 12,000 BTUs or about as much heat as the big burner on your kitchen range. By comparison, the Weber kettle grill, packed with hardwood charcoal can generate 120,000 BTUs, or as much heat as you can get out of a flaming gallon of unleaded.

The Q is ideal for hamburgers or fish, and when it's raining outside.

    5-0 out of 5 stars weber Q
Love it!Beautifully styled.Took me about 3 minutes to put it together. Cooks evenly.I also bought the rolling cart. which is completely assembled. Looks and works good on my patio or on my tailgait. Can't wait to use it more. Easy to transport.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very nice grill!
My burner finally gave out in my Sunbeam grill that I have had for about 8 years.I couldn't find a replacement burner and after thinking it over, I decided to look for another grill.I am by no means a grilling expert!

My wife, 4-year old daughter, and I are starting to get into camping, and I also tailgate almost every weekend in the fall with my parents and a bunch of friends. So, a good-size portable grill is something that I was definitely looking into.

I first looked at the Thermos Grill to Go.I saw some people tailgaiting with it last year, and they seemed to like it.It looked very nice and seemed to be easy to take with you wherever.I really have nothing negative to say about the Grill to Go because I have never personally used one; however, as many others on here have mentioned, it is a griddle. After looking at all of the recommendations on here for the Weber Q, I decided to get one.I definitely like the open flame of the Q!

I usually do not purchase large items on Amazon, so I went to Home Depot last night and bought the Q and the cart.It was the same price as buying on here except of course I had to pay tax.I don't mind that so much because I didn't have to wait a couple of weeks before it was shipped. Also, I didn't have to worry about handles, etc. being broken during transit.

I put the cart and Q together last night - if you could call it that!It wasn't hard and didn't take long to assemble (about 10 minutes)! The cart is very sturdy, and it folds back up just as easily as it is to make it upright!Like many others, I highly reccommmend the cart because it makes the Q like a regular grill. The Q fits nicely and easily into the cart.It is also easy to transport the Q while on the cart whether the cart is upright or folded.

Assembly for the Q itself was no big deal either. All of my handles, etc. were fine right out of the box.Everything was stored inside the Q.The shelves folded out, and I had to lift the grate up to get to the handles and hinges to the lid and the control knob.It comes with 2 drip pans (which should last for a long time) that fit in a tray that slides under the grill. You only need a phillips head screwdriver to screw the handles to the lid.

I have not purchased the 14.1 ounce propane bottles and may not unless I decide to take those camping instead of my 20# tank.I can easily fit the bigger tank in my SUV while going camping and not sure if I should spend extra for the smaller bottles.Instead of spending over $20 for the Weber 4' hose attachment, I got a similar one at Wal Mart for $14 that worked great!

I used the Q the first time tonight by grilling boneless chicken breasts on it.This was the best chicken that I have ever done!It was juicy and tasty even without BBQ sauce on it!My wife and daughter really enjoyed it also.

After use, I used our Scunci Steamer to clean the inside of the grill and the grate. It didn't take long at all.

All in all, I am very happy with the Q and plan to use it a whole lot more than I was using the Sunbeam.I cannot wait to take it camping and tailgating! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Coleman maintains its cool
I've had this cooler for about six months. I find it to be a lot classier and better made than the plastic cooler it replaced. Despite what seems like a loose lid and flimsy latch, this cooler maintains it's cool in the heat, which is the primary reason I bought it. The lid is solidly hinged. I gave it five stars because it's a good deal for the money (I paid ~$85). Though someone complained that this cooler is not bear-proof, I have to ask whether there is such a thing. I recommend this to anyone who wants to have a reliable, good-looking cooler.

5-0 out of 5 stars classy and functional
We bought this to sit out on the porch when we have guests over (frees up space in the fridge), it's awesome!!Guests make comments about it all the time.Oh, and it keeps things cold too--definitely longer than a plastic cooler.

5-0 out of 5 stars Really keeps things cold for a long time
We bought one of these a year ago because 1) it was really stylush and 2) because my fiance believes that the steel coolers are better than the plastic ones. And she was totally right. Ice last a LONG time in the steel cooler. I'm sure a lot of it is due to the fact that it's silver and reflects the sun and heat.

We liked it so much, we got a second one and took it with us to the Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert, where it was quite hot. The steel cooler performed great. My only slight complaint is mentioned in other reviews is that the latch is kind of wimpy. It's not gonna spill your stuff, but it can be forced open easily. I wish they sold a non child proof replacement latch.

Anyway, after a week in the desert, we STILL had a little block ice left in second cooler. Mind you we didnt' open this one as much, but I was shocked to find ice in it after a week in the black rock desert.

This cooler rocks. Give it an option for a non child proof latch and it would be unbeatable! ... Read more

Convenient both in size and design, this rectangular aluminumfolding table from Eastman Outdoors comes in handy at picnics, parties, and yard sales. The table's separate pieces assemble in just seconds, with a clever snap-together design: crossbars attach to the legs, thenthe tabletop attaches to the crossbars. The aluminum materials arelightweight but not flimsy, and the compact structure is easy for oneperson to assemble and transport. The table slats are finished withplastic caps for a smooth surface, and the legs feature protectiveplastic feet. 1-0 out of 5 stars Do not buy
The item I received must have been another unsatisfied customer's return. I purchased new and received a dirty, dented and broken table. The plastic hinges were cracked on three legs. The box claims to permit assembly in 10 seconds and I estimate 4-5 minutes to be more accurate. Fortunately my item's condition did not allow me to test this theory. I highly recommend you pass on this table immediately.

The smaller version of this table is nicer. I've been using it for a week and it seems adequately sturdy for the light use that I need it for.

1-0 out of 5 stars A waste of money
This product is a complete waste of money, and the marketing spiel on the box about how it takes less than 10 seconds to assemble the table is, in my opinion, nothing short of a lie.

Product quality is terrible, and assembly is a total pain. The legs unfold pretty quickly, but attaching the upper runners and the table top is an excercise in frustration since you need to line the pegs up with holes that can't be seen during the assembly - lots of groping around needed. Putting the table back in its carrying bag is even worse, and takes about 10 minutes to do.

I immediately sent the product back to Amazon since it does not in any way meet the claims in the ad - but unfortunately I am now $30 out of pocket for returning it.

Be wise, and stay away from this product. ... Read more

What a lifesaver!! I purchased this for our 10 hr drive to Canada. The kids loved it which made the drive so much better..I had originally purchased a small portable DVD player, but was so glad that I returned it and bought this instead. The carrying bag for the car is such a handy item, it fit nice and secure in my SUV. I'd recommend this for anyone taking a long trip in the car.

4-0 out of 5 stars ROAD TRIP SAVER
THIS HAS TO BE THE BEST INVESTMENT YET. WITH THREE CHILDREN WATCHING AT THE SAME TIME IT WAS PERFECT THE SMALLER DVD PLAYERS ARE REALLY JUST FOR TWO OR LESS WITH NOT MUCH SCREEN TO SEE.FROM CT TO VA WHAT A WAY TO GO. ONLY THING THAT IS WAS A LITTLE BULKY IN BETWEEN THE FRONT SEATS WE HAD THIS IN A SEDAN.

5-0 out of 5 stars A nearly perfect portable TV/DVD
Pros: Perfect size for car, good looking design, every function you could want.

Cons: Picture not as sharp as any [] 13", remote too big, no DVD info display.

Summary: We just bought the Toshiba MD9DM1 9" TV []and think it's a great bargain what it can do. It fits perfectly between the two front seats of our minivan, but I did opt for a canvas type carry bag that makes it hold in place really well. Everything about it functions extremely well, and I really like the front AV inputs as well as the rear AV outputs. That's a super design plus because the inputs are great for game systems or watching video camera stuff, while the outputs allow me to hook the unit up to a larger TV, say at a hotel or something and watch DVDs where there is a bigger TV, but not a DVD player available. I also really like the car power adapter because it's got good length to it. It must be at least 8ft because I can plug it into to my van's rear AC output and the cord easily reaches the rear of the TV up between the front seats. Many such cords are 6 feet, and wouldn't allow this. I also like that this is a stereo unit, with a headphone jack in the front. I don't know of another such 9" TV that has all these conveniences in one, at this great price. The Toshiba MD9DM1 also has an appealing all silver cabinet that is sleek and modern looking.

As far as any complaints about it, they're minor for me. The picture is not as sharp as a 13" [] TV I have it outputted to right now as I write this watching a DVD, but that was expected a little due to it's size. Also the remote it came with is as big or bigger than any other remote I own, counting 2 other DVD players, and 3 other TVs so not sure why they couldn't have gone with a smaller design. And finally, I find that I miss being able to see the time and track details while viewing a DVD, since there is no display on the unit like you'd have on a standard DVD player. Maybe there's a way to call it up onscreen with the remote, but I havn't found it yet in the few days I've played with it.

A great TV/DVD combo for any portable need. Great design and functionality. It has everything from front AV inputs, rear AV outputs, headphone jack, long car AC cord, etc. Super! ... Read more

Sabatier 11-Piece BBQ Tool Set with Case

    Editorial Review

Built to last, the rugged, oversize tools in this barbecue set are made of heavy-gauge, 18/10 stainless steel with a handsome satin finish and riveted handles molded from a virtually indestructible polymer. The set includes an 18-1/2-inch spatula with a 5-inch-wide slotted head, serrated cutting edge, and beveled front edge; an 18-inch fork; 18-inch tongs with curved-in scalloped edges for grasping food on the grill; and a 17-inch scraper/brush for keeping the grill clean. Also included are six 15-inch stainless-steel skewers. The four tools and six skewers fit into a roll-up, heavy-duty nylon carrying case with a strap handle that snaps shut. Unrolled, the case measures 24 by 20 inches and zips open on three sides. The interior of the top, like the insides of the pockets, is rubberized for easy cleanup, and the entire case can be washed. The tools and skewers are dishwasher-safe. --Fred Brack ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A great little set.
I love this BBQ grill set.For what I paid here at Amazon it was an absolute steal.I would have liked a basting brush as well, but that's really a Sabatier issue and not a Amazon one.I got what I ordered and it's wonderful.Good, manly sized tools that won't let any husband down.A perfect gift for a master of the manly art of BBQ or someone in training.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good for the Sale Price
This is an ok product for what you pay. I wouldn't see paying over [$] for it though. The utensils are nice and big and the spatula and tongs are most useful. The wire brush is cheaply made though - the first time we used it, lots of bristles fell out. The carrying case is a nice idea, but the uensils don't all fit in their slots without a lot of coaxing. If you find the item ... for [$] dollars, go for it if only for the spatula and tongs, otherwise invest a few more dollars and get a nicer set.

5-0 out of 5 stars Rugged and oversized--a great deal!
These are the best grill tools I have had the opportunity to use.The oversized stainless turner flips even large items with ease. The serrated cutting edge makes trimming fat from steaks while on the grill a piece of cake.

The long handles keep your hands safely away from the heat, and the rugged rings allow the tools to hang at grill-side when not in use.

Everything is heavy-duty stainless--no worries about bending these things out of shape. In addition, cleanup is a breeze because of the one-piece construction (no seams or welds for food particles to get trapped along. The skewers are heavyweight and long as well, making them my only choice for shishkabobs.

The carry case is nice for storage in the off-season (if there is one where you live--I grill year-long in Minnesota), or for travel to parks, picnics, etc.My only disappointment is that the closure on the carry case is cheap vinyl--leather would have been the coup d'etat!

Overall, an excellent set and highly recommended.I picked this up at deep discount, but it would have been worth every penny at full price! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Good reference Book
Well written and informative, Warner's book is a great reference source for any SEC football fan. Each chapter covers the important players and coaches from each school. However, if you are looking for anything deeper, go elsewhere.None of the big issues, i.e. segregation/integration or cheating/NCAA violations are covered. The book does a great job of accomplishing Warner's goals.I only wish he'd have been a bit more ambitious and tackled questions tougher than, "who was the best QB in Florida history?"

4-0 out of 5 stars Good quality
Bought this to use with my Weber Smokey Mountain.I almost bought a Sunbeam rib rack for half the price at the local home improvement chain but it seemed a lot flimsier. This rack is solid and built with Weber quality.

The one reason I can't give it 5 stars is because the Sunbeam rack has skewers for potatoes and I would really like to see that on this rack.

If the ribs are too big, I just wrap them around the wrap quite easily.

3-0 out of 5 stars Useful, but there are probably better
I bought this rack to use in the Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker Smoker.Though it is useful, the rack is a bit flimsy.I would rather have one with a more solid feel - the wire is not that thick. Also, the gaps for the racks are a bit small.I often have trouble pulling baby back ribs out of one or more of them, and sometimes the ribs touch each other (not a functional problem, but visually the ribs don't look as good - touching the meat together makes it look spotty in those places). It is functional and is relatively straightforward to clean up.But I would hunt around and find one that has a more solid feel.
