    Editorial Review

At first glance, Weber gas grills look like something that might be shot into space or driven in a Formula 1 race rather than the sleek cooking machines they really are. This is an understandable mistake, because with its Genesis series of grills, Weber has made the time-honored tradition of outdoor cooking state-of-the-art, virtually putting an entire kitchen at your fingertips and on your patio. The Genesis Gold C features a generous 611 square inches of total cooking area, which includes the primary cooking area, a warming rack, and a warm-up basket. Its three stainless-steel burners supply an input of 39,000 Btu's per hour and provide 550-degree broiling temperatures without wasting fuel. The Genesis Gold C also features a side burner, rated at 10,000 Btu's per hour, that is perfect for creating a side dish to accompany your perfectly cooked main course. In place of the lava rock, pumice stone, or flat metal plates found in most common gas grills, Weber grills feature the company's patented Flavorizer bars, which do not retain dripped fats.Instead, juices sizzle and smoke when they hit the Flavorizers, eliminating potentially disastrous flare-ups and imparting a delectable smoky flavor to your feast.

Getting the grill ready to cook that feast doesn't take long, either. Weber'sCrossover ignition system enables you to effortlessly start all three burners, which have been positioned to heat your food evenly. A dual-purpose thermometerincluded in the front of the grill unit measures the temperature under thedouble-walled stainless-steel hood; it can also be removed and used as a meatthermometer to ensure a thoroughly cooked meal every time. And you won't need toscramble for seasonings (or recipes--Weber provides a cookbook) or use aseparate table while cooking, thanks to several convenient features. In additionto the handy work surface on one side of the unit, a wire condiment basket hangsalong the front of the grill, keeping condiments, spices, marinades, or otherbarbecue necessities close at hand. A wire shelf is situated beneath the grilland stretches the length of the unit, and three wire tool hooks hang below thework surface, ready for your spatula, meat fork, and basting brush. Webernatural gas grills also come with a 12-foot quick-disconnect hose.

With its lid open, the Genesis Gold C measures 61-1/2 inches tall, 69-1/2 incheswide, and 33 inches deep. This powerful cooking machine is easily moved, however, thanks to its crackproof all-weather wheels and locking casters, whichprevent it from moving when you're cooking. While a grill cover is recommendedto protect your grill from the elements, Weber's engineers did take outdoorstorage into consideration and, with the help of entomologists, added specialspiderproof screens to prevent the burner tubes from being clogged by cobwebs ornests.

This grill features Weber's Stop Watch engineering. Now it takes approximately10 minutes to assemble your grill with no more than eight fasteners and a singletool. Weber even throws in the tool. Manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty.--Benjamin Reese ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I'm in love
I have had many grills over the past 20 years but this Weber is by far the best grill I have ever owned!! The price was great and the free shipping even better. what I love about this grill is you can put your food in the grill get the temp. where you want it ,close the lid and enjoy yourself. The cheaper grills I've had you better be ready to eat, because when you throwthe food onhere comes the fire! Take my advice spend the extra money and enjoy your BBQ'S instead of wandering if you should call the fire department.

Hi, I was shopping for a stainless gas grill, and the prices were coming in around $2000.00 +-. After discovering that a gas line would be toooo difficult to install and that propane would have to be the alternative, I happened to stop at a local retailer, never thought I'd pay retail, so I bought two! The Gold C and the Silver B for each part of the outside. My coousin has one so I have cooked on the Gold, it is a dream and a tremendous value.

5-0 out of 5 stars Weber- by it once!
If you are the type of person who prefers not to spend time replacing rusted grates and burners, there is an option out there that is just as satisfying as replacing your homes moldy siding with new vinyl.

I've had a few grills over the years and have worn them all out.I finally got fed up with replacing rusty cast iron grates and burners that disintegrated within two years.

This year I upgraded to the stainless steel equipped Weber and all I can say is "Wow".The stainless grates sear the steaks just as well as the cast iron ones do, but without the annoying rust that appears on the cheaper grills. The ignitor is magical! The assembly was really easy. VERY IMPRESSIVE!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Bought from manufactuer
I bought my unit straight from the E-Z Que people. And had a great time doing it. These guys were great to talk to and helped me out allot with my choice. I went with the larger version of the 9891. They have one the is an 8" cradle that you can even do turkeys and large hams with. Weber dont even carry that one. They also make a kettle ring for the weber 22.5 inch kettles and its all stainless just like the cradle rotisserie. Oh and by the way they dont call it a basket its called a cradle i learned that to. The tech support was great at E-Z Que because these guys are not people sitting at a desk with headsets that are trained to say a script about the products they are BBQers just like us and they use thier own products and know how to use it. They were very happy with giving us some tips on how to use our new 8" stainless cradle rotisserie. Im going to give the E-Z Que people 5 stars and my full recommendation. So before you buy from Weber I would take a look at these guys first then make your choice be making that purchase. Oh and before it forget E-Z Que offers a life time warrenty on all of the stainless parts so they stand behind what they sell.

Found the ebay store here Im not kidding guys check them out first

5-0 out of 5 stars Superior Rotisserie
This is a superior rotisserie!!! I'm leaving mine in my will to my grandkids. I've been disappointed and thrown away at least a half dozen or more spit-rod rotisseries in my life. I thought I would give rotisserie cooking another try.

Sure wish I owned the patents on this!! It's definately the wave of the future. As an engineer, I can see all the thought that went in to the design. I was intrigued by the whole concept of the style, design, and the apparent durability of it.This beats any other rotisserie I have ever seen. The design allows it to carry a lot more meat than a spit rod could. It's made out of all stainless steel which holds up to the heat and doesn't peel like the chrome spit rods do. The adjustable clamping arms hold any meat I put in it, no matter what shape. Depending on what you are cooking, the meat clamp tongs reverse to tightly hold. I just set my meat in the cradle, securely tighten the clamping arms and put it on the grill. It self balances, so I don't need that clunky counter balance that has killed every rotisserie motor I've seen. The motor that came with my EZQue is a real workhorse. It effortlessly turns the big loads of whole chickens and roasts.

I have a large family that gets together for barbecue all the time. I followed the advice of one of the posters and bought mine from Innovative Cradle Rotisseries on E-Bay. From what I was told, they are the only company in the world that manufactures this ingenious advancement in barbecue technology. Come to find out, everything about the product is patented. It really IS a product that is past due. I spent a lot of time talking to the customer service person - I've never seen such great personal attention. They told me that Weber was given an exclusive for 3 years to market the 9891 and that is no longer being made. (When I called the Weber hotline to ask about the 9891, the only thing they could tell me is "This thing comes down and holds the meat." Not much help.) Then I called the customer service at EZQue, they are not only knowledgeable about their own products, but knew every detail about the grills that they make the product for. They ARE the authorities in rotisserie in my book. Although the company has been around since the early 80s they only sold through grill companies. They make them for all grills, not just Weber and they also make big ones for pigs and catering.

Anyway, being a Weber fan, I strayed from the Weber brand name package and decided to buy direct.Am I ever glad I did. The EZQue one is a better made product than the 9891 - with a motor that is better suited to the job.

I love my EZQue rotisserie so much I went back and ordered ones for all of my friends and family's grills for Christmas, and it's only July. I got a couple Webers, a Ducane, and Charbroil. They made sure that I got the right model for all my friend's different grills, and are even custom making one for a Jennaire for a grill my parents just bought.I bought a portable campfire one that I got to take with us to use on the beach when we go sailing, and a kit that I can build into my outdoor fire hearth at our cabin. My son in collage has a charcoal kettle, they had a rotisserie to fit that. They even shipped on to my brother overseas. Next year they are going to have a line for Charbroil, and Sunbeam. Now the pastor of my church is looking at getting a few of the 3 foot long double rotisserie EZQue grills to rent for events and weddings.

Superior design, superior service, superior grill accessory, superior limited lifetime gaurantee.

And, did i forget to mention how UNBELIEVABLY juicy and beautiful anything I cook on it turns out? Superior rotisserie cooking!

5-0 out of 5 stars A dream, one great product, be wary of "refurbished" sellers
I'd like to say thank you to the person that wrote a review and lead me to the manufacturer of the Weber 9891 rotisserie. I found the website for the company, it's www.ezqueinc.com.My family LOVES to cook outside with our Weber grill, and we LOVE rotisserie cooking. I purchased a new rotisserie cradle directly from the E-Z Que people after I saw the review, and what I got today is a top of the line product. We barbecued with it tonight, and it works like a dream. We had the best rotisserie chicken cooked in one side and a pork loin roast on the other side, then we did a slab of baby back ribs. All of the parts were precision fitted, went together well, I got a diagram about how to place different meats in the rotisserie. Everything went perfectly. It cleaned up like a dream, I did as the company told me, disassemble the parts, place in the sink with soapy water, and let soak for about 20 minutes. Every part came out shiny with very little scrubing.I originally had bought what I think may have been a "refurbished" model that came with a plastic case motor. From what I hear in the reviews, it sounds like they were duped like I was the first time around. The company that manufactures the rotisserie told me they have a limited life time warantee, and do not sell or authorize anyone to refurbish their products. The one I got frome E-Z Que came with a much stronger metal casing motor - you can tell there is a big difference in the quality in the one I bought from E-Z Que, it seems to handle the turning better, is quieter, and runs smoother.

My advice, from a customer that has gone from discouraged to elated.....This is one great product that proved everything it stated it could do. Make sure you buy the original. It cost me a little bit more, but, I think I'll be using this product for many years to come. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN
Even up here in Michigan I do tend to grill year round.I'll gladly brave a mid-January's frost to toss some steaks on the grill. There's just nothing like it.But still, it's at this time of the year that most people think about grilling and BBQ.Weber's Big Book of Grilling has been a staple of mine for many years.Even as a veteran griller I've still found a lot of helpful advice and tips. You'll find expert advice on grill methods, types of grills, buying meat, herbs and marinades, etc...At over 400 pages and nearly as many recipes, you're sure to find something you like.

The recipes range from the staples like burgers to variations like Buffalo burgers with Chipotle mayo, Teriyaki chicken burgers, and bacon mushroom burgers. The grilled steak tacos are just fantastic as are the fajitas. The flank steak with Salsa verde is another winner.Beef, chicken, pork, lamb, seafood, vegetarian, no matter what your preference, this book has a great recipe for it.Whether you're looking for a hearty brisket to serve a house full of guests or just making an elegant meal for two, you'll find it here.As much as I consider myself an expert, I always return to Weber's Big Book as a source for great information.

5-0 out of 5 stars A must-have for grilling beginners
I bought this book based on a recommendation of a friend. Wow! Am I ever glad I did. This book tells you everything you ever wanted to know about grilling. You don't even have to have a Weber grill. It will explain how to make the perfect grilled salmon and change your mind about how to grill a steak. Steaks always come out perfect, juicy, and just the right amount of flavor. The additional recipes for side dishes and toppings are worth the cost of the book. Even if you are an old pro at grilling, this book can help you become better. You won't be disappointed with this book. I keep it in the kitchen and glance through it before going to the store for ideas. If you are new to grilling, like I am, this book should be in your collection. It's not a thin pamplet style book either. It's more like a grilling catalog full of recipes and ideas. You won't be sorry with this purchase.

    Editorial Review

Ever grill a banana? Want to grill a peach, but not sure what to do next? You need Weber's Art of the Grill from those nice people at Weber who brought us the covered kettle charcoal grill and, now, a full array of gas-fired outdoor grills. It's not just about grilling hamburgers anymore, and this lush book is here to prove how wide a range of cooking opportunities exist under the cover of your grill.

We start with the essentials, the differences between direct and indirect cooking, and move right into those basic sauces that give grilled foods the piquancy we so adore: Honey-Ginger Peach Sauce, Dijon Wine Sauce, Hot Pepper Vinegar Sauce, Weber's Tangy Barbecue Sauce. Then there's a menu planner. The Wine Country Lunch, for example, includes Grilled Tuna Niçoise, Butterflied Chicken Under Bricks, and Grilled Peaches with Fresh Cherry Sauce. Business Casual includes Caponata Bruschetta, Smoky Lobster Tails and Corn on the Cob, and S'Mores All Grown Up.

The chapters break out as Starters, Meats, Chicken and Poultry, Fish and Seafood, Vegetable Main Dishes, Sides and Salads, and Desserts--all of it based on grilled foods of one kind (the grilled bread of Bruschetta) or another (the grilled butternut squash of Grilled Butternut Squash and Ginger Soup with Spiced Peanuts). This is not a snooty, party-food book loaded with recipes you'll never want to try--not with the likes of Prime Rib with Texas Dry Rub or Moroccan Butterflied Leg of Lamb tucked between the book's covers. Author Jamie Purviance's central theme through all the recipes is to make it easy to get that terrific grilled flavor on the table. He knows that given just a little exposure to working with a grill--and admittedly, there is a little bit of a learning curve to get to the comfort zone--any cook who likes to eat great-tasting food will keep coming back.

With Weber's Art of the Grill in hand, you may find yourself outside in the middle of winter firing up the grill to bring those midsummer flavors on home. And who could blame you? --Schuyler Ingle ... Read more

The unusual design of this American Woods outdoor chair givesyou all the comfort of a chaise longue with the soothing motion of arocker. Stoutly constructed, the V-shaped supports let you trail a footover the side to set yourself gliding back and forth. The chair iscrafted from high-quality Western red cedar with three angles ofrecline for the seatback. The highest is a great reading angle, themiddle is ideal for basking, and the last is nearly horizontal (thoughthe chair doesn't glide when fully reclined). Slightly contoured to fityour body, the seatback and leg support allow plenty of room forstretching out, and the armrests are comfortable. 1-0 out of 5 stars You get less than what you pay for!
These chairs seemed to be a good price, and with free shipping we decided to take a chance.Boy, are we dissapointed. We've gotten splinters in our hands, butts and the backs of our legs, the chairs have literally split on the legs and backrests, and the matching table has also led to some casualties!I want my money back!!!DON"T buy these chairs!!Better to sit on a (safe) folding chair!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Decent Product, Great Price
COnsidering the price of these chairs (130 for 2) plus free shipping, they can't be beat with a stick.I mean top value for dollar.Take price out of the equation and they're still pretty darn good. No, they're not teak or other top end wood, but they are a nice cedar and have a pleasing deisgn.Quality was pretty good, in fact 95% on these chairs (less on the potters table I also bought). The only problem was that one drill hole didn't go all the way thru and thus when opened up by a scrediver, it ripped/splinted the wood a bit.No biggie and may even add character.Anyway, the hardware is average (brass screws and wahsers), and the wood is "combined" (not from one piece), but still the product is above average withotu price and outstanding with price.
