OK for the money but...
...they really need to work on packaging!It came in a flimsy cardboard box and the stand was almost sagging out of the bottom.And, like others I read about in previous reviews of this product, the screw heads (plastic) were broken on my stand.The stand itself is sturdy and attractively designed.

Umbrella Stand
Sturdy and holds the umbrella without any difficulty.Only problem is that 2 of the plastic bolt heads were broken during shipping.Probably caused by the weight of the product.

Too light for duty
The stand arrives in a lightweight card board box. As a result the first stand I received was damaged.

The polyester umbrella, 9 feet diameter, is reminiscent of those found at popular resorts or beach houses. In other words, this is one nice umbrella. It's protected by Scotchgard, which means rain, snow, and sleet bead up and roll off, spills can be wiped away easily, and the thick fabric remains soft and breathable. The 8-foot pole, made of dense, heavy Shorea wood, comes in two pieces. Simply lie the umbrella down, screw one part into the other, then stand it up. The eight-point frame inside the umbrella, also made of Shorea wood, comes securely attached to the umbrella. To remove the cover, pull it over the ends of the frame. A white rope pulley inside the umbrella raises and lowers it. Insert a metal stick at the end of the rope into one of four holes in the pole, depending on whether you want the umbrella narrow (partly open) or wide (fully open). Excess rope can be tied up or even cut off, and brass fittings throughout give this umbrella a finished look. A decorative wooden knob, matching the pole, comes with the package and can be screwed on top of the umbrella. The umbrella and pole together weigh 20 pounds. We are pleased with our recent purchase.We were surprised that it came through the US mail service. It did have a broken part that we believe is used on the cord to open the umbrella.

Patio umbrella review (sort of)
The umbrella I ordered is fine, just what I had hoped it would be. However, I subsequently ordered an umbrella stand (after you prompted me to do so) and when it arrived the two tightening screwsin the shaft had been damaged in shipment. Each of the screws have plastic knobs and the knobs were broken off. As a result when one tightens them the broken plastic is sharp enough to cut skin. I have tried unsuccessfully to find replacements at a hardware store.Any suggestions? ... Read more

Oxford Cushions are okay, not great
I returned my cushions.The natural color was too stark.The single welt was not nearly as nice as a box welt.The cushion thickness was a little too flimsy.If you are on a tight budget, these are fine, but if you want something that looks really sharp, I would pass on these.

A must have if you buy the Oxford Arm Chair
I bought two Oxford chairs and after sitting in one of them for about ten minutes, I knew I had to buy these cushions.The chairs are very good, however, the cushions make them about perfect.The cushions are well made and hold up to the weather perfectly.
Great Design for outdoors and Indoors Also
