AWESOME!
If I could give it 10 stars I would. I have NEVER tasted better meat,chicken, or fish. 20 mins in the tumbler with ANY marinade and the food is 200% infused with the flavor of your marinade. The clean up is SUPER easy. Throw the tumbler in the dishwasher and take 1 minute to wash the top. No need to remove the rubber seal from the top, as that will decrease the longevity. The seal doesn't let anything get in that will contaminate it anyways. This is absolutely the indespensible kitchen item for non-vegetarians :-) As a test I put in thawed thick cut bacon in it with some maple syrup and pepper and it was so good I made another pound immediatly afterwards. Works excellent on venison. No gamey taste and as I said earlier,,it totally infuses the meat with flavor. Additionally you don't have to baste your meat in between flips on the grill or whatever technique you use. Buy this product NOW! I know it sounds like a review written by an employee of the company, but I assure you I'm an Air Force man with a wife and two kids. We use this machine at least 4 nights a week.

pure garbage - refurbished
I didn't even bother completely unpacking the thing. Old worn unsealed box, all the plastic surfaces looked as is scrubbed with 'Comet cleanser', sheen of grease residue on plastic too. The bag that the instructions were enclosed in had been through the mill too. I've been a long time Amazon customer and this is the first time I've seen this type of garbage. Therefore I put it on the manufacturer and not Amazon. If I buy a used, refurbished item I don't expect to pay full price.

Good, but not so heat resistant
These gloves are good because they cover the whole hand and wrist, allow for good manual dexterity, and stand up well to abuse.
Wonderful cooking gloves - would be even better with hanging loops
I love these thick, high quality gloves.I use them for the grill and in the kitchen.They protect my hands from heat really well.Also, we have a gas stove and we've burned many regular cotton oven mitts.These gloves seem flame resistant and have not been burned at all - which is why we purchased these.

I Wouldn't Call this "Gourmet"!
I don't know how the Eastman Company can claim that this injector is "gourmet"!They are just plain wrong.There is nothing "gourmet" about it.I bought one and maybe it could be called semi-epicurean but definitely NOT "gourmet".If you want something truly "gourmet" then I suggest getting the Basting Gun with Injector by Gourmac (Division of Hutzler Mfg. Consider this a good qualityDisposable unit
I am already on my second unit. I managed to get three uses out of the first one. I should have ordered the second when I saw the first one start smoking halfway through draining the turkey fryer. (No, the oil was not hot, it was at room temp.!) THe only reason I gave a second star is that it did work well, once. I really wish Eastman would re-design this to make it durable. I've given up and use PVC tubing from Home depot and a funnel with cheesecloth to get the residuals out. Good luck to anyone who wants to use this a second time!

Works with reservation
This pump is a step backwards from the previous two battery version (this one has three batteries).The additional battery make it too heavy on the top so it doesn't sit well in the pot.It has a tendency to tip over, or at least shift from the position you set it at. Pump dies during first use
I had bought the battery version of this pump as gifts for other turkey fryers and bought the electric one for myself two months ago.Used it for the first time today, all was well until the pump lets out a little smoke and quit after pumping 4.5 gal of room temp oil.I called the Eastman Outdoors help line and they were very good about offering to ship outa new unit but had no advice on why the pump died or whether this has been a common problem.Read more

Don't buy it
I purchased a similar grinder from another place few months ago and I returned it to the store. The meat got stacked in the grinder and did not get out. This type of machine is made out of cast iron and its surface is rough and porous like the sand paper that is the reason why the meat won't go out. In other countries, these grinders are electro-coated with tin or chrome, or covered with hardened acrylic until the inside and the outside become very shiny and lustrous like glass. The meat slides out with ease, it is sanitary and the cleaning is simple and effortless. Unless you purchase a grinder made this way, stay away from Eastman Outdoors #10 Meat Grinder.
