Cheap price - cheap quality
The wooden slats were not properly planed nor finshed.My bench has not fared well in the elements either.I expect this to last me about two years before I toss it.

quality lacking
I purchased this for my wife for Mother's day.The package arrived in tough shape.Part of the wood on the back piece had broken off and three of the screws that held one of the wood arm rests had snapped in half.I called to order replacement parts.They just arrived yesterday in a very beat up box.Actually, they sent entire bench.Surprisingly, the bench was intact (with only minor scrapes on the wood arm rests).BTW, customer service associated with obtaining the replacement parts was good. Not for the Great Outdoors
I love the bench, but the finish is wearing off after only 2 weeks outside.It's in a shaded area, but exposed to the heavy rains we've been having in the northeast.I passed by it today in a rare moment of dry weather, and noticed the wood finish has practically worn away on the seat as well as the back.I wouldn't rate this as a great outdoor product.It might do well under a porch or gazebo, but if you expose it to the elements, good luck! ... Astonica Market Umbrella, Hunter Green (10 ft Diameter)
The description of this umbrella states that the diameter of the two piece juniper pole is 1 1/2 inches in diameter.Actually it is 1 7/8 inches in diameter.Since most standard tables have pole openings less than 1 7/8", this umbrella cannot be used with a table, rendering it useless for my purposes.Furthermore, the juniper pole came split.
Warp Speed
This umbrella isn't bad for a cheapie.The pole does have girth, not a problem for me because I'm not using it with a patio table.It fits perfectly in the 60+ pound stand from Costco without the gromet.When the umbrella arrived the first thing I did was teak oil the wood for protection.Three months later, several of the arms are warped and bowing.The shade isn't Sunbrella, I knew that when I purchased it.I would say it is a cross between nylon and canvas, and seems to be fading.I doubt it will make it through two seasons, but for the money it serves the purpose.My local grocery store is selling a similiar umbrella for $59.00, overall not that great of a deal.

The product description clearly states that the pole is 1 7/8 inches around, but I didn't notice it, and I don't think you would either.Problem is this a larger than normal size (guessing 1 1/2) and it won't fit the hole in my brand new table or my brand new base.I noticed it as soon as I took it out of the box, the pole is huge!It looks good, but it will likely not fit your furniture.I've never seen an umbrella with this size pole before.Read more

I was very pleased with this purchase.The chairs are lightweight, attractive and comfortable.The thing I thought was a little misleading were the online photos.The product looked as though it was black in color when in fact it ischarcoal grey.The color is still nice, but I think people should be aware if this prior to purchase.

GETTING WHAT YOU PAY FOR
THE ITEMS WERE A DISAPPOINTMENT. I CHOSE PVC MATERIAL TO STAND THE TEST OF TIME. THESE CHAIRS PROBABLY WONT LAST A YEAR INDOORS, LESS OUTDOORS. THE WEAVE STRANDS WERE LOOSE AND UNRAVELING. I HAD TO LIGHT A MATCH TO MELT THE WEAVE IN ORDER TO SECURE THE STRANDS.THERE WERE SHORT STRANDS STUCK INTO ENLARGED SPACES. NOT A GOOD BUY.

Only one caution on this umbrella.the pole is 1 7/8" in diameter, bigger than the standard hole on most tables.This required me to find a shop with a wood lathe.For most people this added expense may be a show stopper.
