Absolutely enchanting...
This is my 4th George Carruth piece and my absolute favorite so far.I don't even know where to begin.The details on her face and dress are stunning.The "lost" items she carries are adorable.She has a tooth, a teddy bear, a frog, a key, etc.Each time I look at her I see this piece in a new light.You can't go wrong with any Carruth items and I can not say enough how much I love his work!!

No Rain Guage At All
Mine didnt even come with the rain guage. It didnt come with the cork pads. Thank goodness for the other reviews that amazon has supplied. They will at least give me the chance to locate a replacement.

An Item of Taste
I bought it for my parents and they got a kick out of it and put it up (it helped that our previous thermometer was faulty). However, it is purely a thing of taste. My mother loves frogs, so I bought something that had to do with frogs. If you're looking for any regular thermometer, I shouldn't understand why you would choose this one, but for the frog-lover this is the thing to get. Man, I LOVE this thing

This sculpture, no wait! Masterpiece is a testiment to time and will power of man! The frog on top of a round stone with the word "welcome" painstakeningly engraved upon the gray stone will work wonders in your magic elvish garden as it has done to mine. Delightful, but dimensions would be nice
My plaque arrived - with that delightful smile, but it was a bit smaller than I had anticipated.I don't know why, but based on the photo, my husband and I both expected the plaque to be at least 5x7".Turns out it's more like 3 1/2x5 1/2".Somewhat of a disappointment considering the cost of ....It would be nice if ...printed the dimensions of products like this.Despite my disappointment in the size, the plaque IS wonderful and has generated many favorable comments from our friends who have seen it.

I opened the box and first was impressed by the packaging. Packed very well in biodegradable tiny accordion papers.The picture on the Web does not do it justice.The detail and weight are wonderful.
