Great Lamp, No Problems
This lantern was used to replace my old pump-up liquid fuel Coleman lantern that used the cloth mantels.While not as bright, it stays cool which allowed us to use it inside the tent as well as out side. It also worked very well during a recent night time power failure at home. The metal ring on the handle is a nice touch and allows the remote to be clipped to the lantern, so you don't loose it when stored.When needed quickly, as in the case of the power failure, the controller is right there.There is an override "On" position which is nice in case the remote isn't handy.There are two down sides; first the 4 "D" cells make it a bit heavy to hang inside the tent.Secondly, the florescent "U tube" has a special base which will limit availability to Coleman parts. I don't view these as problems, just inconveniences.Over all I'm very pleased with the lantern and the ease of use. - HRB

I purchased this lantern for a different purpose than what it is advertised for.I have a hall with no light and it is very dark at night.Sitting on a shelf my little lantern gives exactly the right amount of light and I can cut it on before I enter the hall. Neat,huh?!? ... Read more

Kept us dry!
We pruchased this tent for our annual car camping trip in Northern MI, where weather is very unpredictable.We've had other tents that took FOREVER to set up, but this one was super simple.I think it too two of us less than 15 minutes to have it up and ready.We loved the size of this tent - plenty of room for our air mattress and gear.The air circulation was great, too.Even in the heat of the day, we had a nice breeze keeping us cool, thanks to a miriad of windows.When rain came during the night, we stayed dry, though I would recommend sealing the seams prior to using this tent.Overall, we're really happy with this tent (especially for the price!), and plan to use it for several years.

Coleman cooking tools DON'T do the trick
Upon receipt of the utensils, I realized that they were not what I wanted at all, and tried to send them back.The problem was sending them back and being charged for shipping both ways, I would be paying more than what I bought them for!So, I kept them and decided to use them.I am giving them away as soon as I get home.I am on my camping trip as we speak (writing from a local library) and I must tell you, the tongs were useless.They are hard to grab and they rest of the items are poorly made.They are too big to put in any camping box.So, my opinion is DON'T BUY THEM!Total waste of money!
