This Tent is awesome!!!
I'm a 13 year old boy scout and purchased this tent after i got tired of bunking with other people. The first night before the campout i pitched it in my backyard and have never pitched a tent in my life and i did this one in about 3 minutes. Really easy to set up, breathable, and even warm. I recommend it for anyone!!!!
This tent has serious problems
I read the previous review from Randy before buying this tent, but my father is an experienced camper and well-armed with seam sealer and waterproofing stuff, so I decided to give it a try. The price is certainly right. We sealed it up and sprayed on some of the waterproofing before leaving on our trip, and my family admired the tent. It's nice-looking and easy to set up. The one thing I didn't like is that there is no way to "close" the windows on the side--it's just the mesh. Definitely no good for colder weather!
Great Inexpensive tent.
I had a coleman tent of a similar design for about 7 years until the zippers gave out.This new design makes several improvements: 1. The supporting poles fit into a continuous sleeve...previously you had to thread each through two sleeves. 2. previously you had to tie the tent to the supporting poles at the top, now the continuous sleeve eliminates the ties.3. The fly is now supported by a single pole over the top. 4. The rainfly appears more impervious to rain...as I had no drips from it in 4 or 5 days or showers.

Great Cooler
This is a great cooler. It comes with the protective cover. Only thing is the latch is only meant to keep the cooler shut, if you pull on the lid forecfully it will open. Great mattress
Don't believe all these people who complain that it leaks.I bought this one after the one I cheaped out buying one off Ebay.that one leaked slowly, but this one is fine.You can only use it with the adapter that comes with the coleman pump, which i guess would be a bugger, but i haven't had any problems with the pump either.It works great for camping trips or for people staying over who don't want to sleep on the floor.My only complaint is how freaking heavy it is.we took it on our recent camping trip to the midwest and it was a pain to lug it on the plane.but if it were any lighter then it would leak so you have to take one or the other.

do not order this
The pump that i ordered to go with it (coleman quickpump rechargeable) as recommended by amazon, DID NOT WORK and the air mattress hole is not standard so it does not fit with the standard air pumps that you can buy at a hardware store or CVS. I was left with an air mattress that did not fit a standard pump. total waste of money. you can get an airmattress and pump at any hardware store, CVS or most walgreens for the same price or much better so there is no need to order online. i called CVS to check before i ordered and the store person said no, but she was clearly just incompetent. do not order this. it will make you angry and annoyed.

Great Sleep!
I recommend this item to anyone who tents it. It is the only way to go! This is my second one I bought because I liked it so much. Great to have in the house when power goes out!
I also live by the ocean, and we have frequent storms (and occasionally tropical storms/hurricanes), causing electricity outages. The lamps are wonderful to have in the house, we have 3 and just ordered 2 more. They came in good use several times this year. During one blackout, a neighbor came over and thought we had electricity, only to find out it was the Coleman battery-powered table lamps! They give enough light (not overly bright but it's good enough) so you can read a book, newspaper, or work on your hobbies or collections until the electricity has returned. 2 would probably be sufficient for the kitchen, 2 for a large living room, 1 for the family room or den, and 1 for the bathroom. It was still as bright 7 hours into the dark night before the electricity returned, and no sign of weakening batteries.Battery operated lamps are great, and useful during blackouts!

This little fan packs a punch
When my fans arrived I wasn't sure about them.But when I put batteries in...WOW!For camping in a tent it is perfect, we bought two of them.One fan for each side of the tent.I think this fan is a great buy.

Save your money!
I was thinking 'how bad can it be?' Well, it's bad. You might as well buy those little hand held attached to a string you can put around your neck at Wal-Mart. Another reviewer suggested that it might be OK for one person. NAHH! It's OK for one person if you put it about 12" from your face. I would not buy this product if I were you.

Does Its Job And Stays Out Of The Way
When tent camping alone, this little fan works wonders.It doesn't crank out a lot of air, but it does get things flowing pretty good considering how small it is.It beats lugging around a portable standup fan and having to fight with it all night.This fan stays tucked neatly out of the way on the dome of my tent.

Great tent for a family outing
Took this tent out this past weekend w/my 5yr son. He and I set it up in about 45 min. It took awhile to setup and get all the stakes in the ground (it was rocky). The tent is well designed and constructed but I do think it is a little complex to set up. Fortunately my son was able to hold the one end of the poles while I did the bending. I'm curious as to what the tent will be like after several uses. The poles seem to be bent to just about their max.

Must have for camping
C. Anderson was right on - a gallon of gas would last a LONG time with this lantern.I specifically bought it to avoid those silly propane tanks, and white lantern fuel is very expensive.This lantern is very bright, and the fuel last a long time even when it's fully cranked.

I camp 4-5 times a year, a total of 14-15 days total.Every night, I have a lantern going for at least 2-3 hours while the family plays games, reads, or talks.If you use a propane lantern, you'll go through 16 oz. propane tanks every few days -- at $3.99 a pop.

Too weak to finish the job
I've had this pump for several years now and it can never inflate the mattress to a comfortable firmness.Even after 10 minutes on fresh batteries your bum will hit the ground when lie down.So, you'll still need a manual or just get a more powerful pump.
The little pump that did, everything.
On a trip with the Boy Scouts, I picked up an airbed cause I am getting old (27). This little pump blew that mattress up in no time flat. Then it went on to be used like a billows for the camp fire, where it was once again,"like a champ!". There are only 3 problems with this handy little guy. 1 it is noisey and 2 it's heavy (4 D batteries) Not good for a backpack camper but then why would you need a pump then anyway?. 3 No carry-ing sack. All and all, I would buy it again because it is a "Champ" all the way and then some.

Sweet
After spending last weekend sleeping on hard-packed soil, I bought an air bed tonight and picked one of these up at the same time. The air bed is a cheap full size non-Coleman brand and this little bugger filled it to a very comfortable pressure in about 5 minutes.

Purchase a large supply of batteries
I read reviews on many air mattresses before choosing this one. Most reviews were concerned with mattresses leaking. I saw this one was called a "dorm room" mattress, which implied to me that it could be used nightly and not just for emergencies. It was OK for a couple of weeks, although not comfortable at all. The "coils" spoken about are plastic cylinder like sections in the mattress, and although they probably keep the mattress held level, they are lumps when the mattress isn't inflated enough. When you inflate it to get rid of the lumps, it is as hard as a rock. With all this said, I assume it was pretty good as moderately priced air mattresses go. I used it for 2-3 weeks with no major problems except for the comfort level being terrible, then one night (( I borrow here from another reviewer I saw talking about another air mattress)) I went to sleep on an air mattress and awakened on a plastic sheet. Every since that night , if I used it at all, I was ready to get up and pump it up every 2-3 hours. One good thing is that the battery operated pump does a good job. To bad the mattress isn't as relaible. So to sum this up, good pump, poor excuse for a "guaranteed not to leak" mattress. Save your money and sleep on the floor. I thouhgt Coleman was a more reliable company. I have lost my confidence in them, somewhat, as I know they DO sell good products. Not this one though .
