Great for medium duty hiking.....
I received my backpack in a timely fashion.It was put to good use during a 4 day camping trip in the north Georgia mountains.Honestly, this was my first camping trip that require a long hike.The backpack worked like a champ.It held everything I needed for the trip.The material seemed to hold up.My only suggestion would be to purchase straps to hold a sleeping mat at the bottom for the pack.Otherwise, no worries.I would make the purchase again. ... Used to love it until the tent poles snapped
First, the positives:
This tent was fantastic (even during a two hour downpour!)

This tent was a good tent in all areas except for one: leaking. Set-up and take down were simple. The airflow was excellent due to the large windows. However, it leaks terribly in the rain. Prior to going on our camping trip, I sealed the seams as directed. During a heavy two hour rainstorm, the tent leaked in four places; all of them from the seams at the bottom of the windows. Coleman claims to put all their tents through a sort of man-made hurricane test prior to selling them. This could not possibly pass that test. It's the worst tent I've ever owned and will be taking it back immediately. ... Read more

The best coffee maker for those who love coffee outdoors
This Coleman drip coffeemaker is the ultimate indulgence for those who love to make coffee outdoors. Why sacrifice the quality of your coffee on a camping trip? If you love camping and you love coffee, get this maker...forget any other method (unless, of course, you absolutely don't have the room such as when backpacking).
Disappointed in the Coleman name.
I sent for the Coleman Camp Coffeemaker with the steel base with great expectations only to be disappointed twice. I received the first one and the grounds basket would not stay closed. It would easily pop open on its own during the brew process. I sent it back for an exchange and Amazon responded quickly with out question. Only to find the second one had exactly the same problem with the basket not staying closed. So I am sending the second one back also for a refund this time. This could be an extreme safety hazard when using a propane stove not to mention the burn possibilities.

Sorry, folks - it won;t inflate tires!
I bought the 12V version of this product and attached it to my trailer tires.These are standard 15 inch tires that have a requirement of 50 psi.This was the third brand of these "quick pumps" I have purchased.In each case I attached the inflation hose to the tire (both ON and OFF the vehicle) and let it run for 20 minutes or so.The starting psi was about 35 psi and after 20 minutes the psi hadn't changed.I used a hand pump and had the tires up to 50 psi in a matter of minutes.I don't know who wrote the other two reviews before me, but maybe it's all in the way you hold your mouth!In any case - THUMBS DOWN on all brands of this product.It can't do what it says it can!

First one to work right for me!
I am 48 and have a bad back. My daughter lives in another state so she can not help me.My husband had a stroke in `89 & is paralyzed on one side...so he can not help me.Ok, I can not use the air pumps at stations as they are very heavy, to heavy for me and I can not lean over for long that far.I have tried cheap air pumps, they don't work for me. I even bought one for $79 and it is good but you have to hold it on the tire air stem and when I tried it, I lost ALL the air in my tire. lol I could not keep a good seal. Works great!!!
Do not waste your time or money buying less expensive ones. It works as advertised. Inflate a completely flat car tire in about 3-4 minutes or much less time if you just need to add air periodically. No need to jack up the car. The connector for the car tires is the best I've ever seen. It screws directly to the stem with absolutely no air loss. Unlike the cheap clip-on ones that the other companies use. Coleman has always made high quality products and this is no exception. Much better than the previous 3 pumps that I bought and threw away, totally useless. ... Read more
