Lives up to reputation, but too expensive!
I really like these skewers, but was not impressed with the price.I feel they were too expensive.

The best kabob skewers around!!
I bought several different sized sets of these skewers so I could try them all, including the widest so I could cook ground beef.
Great Wide Skewers
If you like grilling kabobs these are great skewers for you.Basically, there are two main types of skewers available in the market.Metal and Wooden.Wooden ones can be made of bamboo or other wood types and often are round shape.The problem with wood skewers is that they can get burnt if the grill is quite hot so you have to soak the skewers in water before use.Also, because they are round, it's difficult to "flip" the skewer so that you can evenly grill the kabobs or whatever else you are grilling.

Life-changing cooking utensil
So after renovating my kitchen to15k btu burners and a 1200cfm hood I thought that was the best I could do. But after attempting to cook just one wok-based meal I realized 1) Although the hood could keep up, there was still lots of area clean-up to do, and 2) I wasn't getting anywhere near the power of a commercial kitchen wok setup.

AWESOME!
If I could give it 10 stars I would. I have NEVER tasted better meat,chicken, or fish. 20 mins in the tumbler with ANY marinade and the food is 200% infused with the flavor of your marinade. The clean up is SUPER easy. Throw the tumbler in the dishwasher and take 1 minute to wash the top. No need to remove the rubber seal from the top, as that will decrease the longevity. The seal doesn't let anything get in that will contaminate it anyways. This is absolutely the indespensible kitchen item for non-vegetarians :-) As a test I put in thawed thick cut bacon in it with some maple syrup and pepper and it was so good I made another pound immediatly afterwards. Works excellent on venison. No gamey taste and as I said earlier,,it totally infuses the meat with flavor. Additionally you don't have to baste your meat in between flips on the grill or whatever technique you use. Buy this product NOW! I know it sounds like a review written by an employee of the company, but I assure you I'm an Air Force man with a wife and two kids. We use this machine at least 4 nights a week.

pure garbage - refurbished
I didn't even bother completely unpacking the thing. Old worn unsealed box, all the plastic surfaces looked as is scrubbed with 'Comet cleanser', sheen of grease residue on plastic too. The bag that the instructions were enclosed in had been through the mill too. I've been a long time Amazon customer and this is the first time I've seen this type of garbage. Therefore I put it on the manufacturer and not Amazon. If I buy a used, refurbished item I don't expect to pay full price.

I can't believe these gloves haven't been reviewed by anyone else yet! I've had mine for a year now and they are absolutely great for handling hot foods. I use them for pulling pork butt or moving hot chicken from the grill (or oven) to the cutting board (and then to hold onto it while carving it). When I can't smoke pork butt outside in the winter, I do pulled pork in my crockpot and with these gloves I can shove my hands right into the scalding liquid of the crockpot to remove the butt and then pull it apart. Another great feature is that you can clean them the same way as you would wash your hands - with soap and water under the kitchen faucet. I think they're great! ... Read more

Good, but not so heat resistant
These gloves are good because they cover the whole hand and wrist, allow for good manual dexterity, and stand up well to abuse.
Wonderful cooking gloves - would be even better with hanging loops
I love these thick, high quality gloves.I use them for the grill and in the kitchen.They protect my hands from heat really well.Also, we have a gas stove and we've burned many regular cotton oven mitts.These gloves seem flame resistant and have not been burned at all - which is why we purchased these.

Za Grill Works Well
I use this for hand-tossed pizzas and it works quite well. It takes about 11 minutes to cook in a grill that has been pre-heated about 15 minutes. The pizza cooks evenly and the crust is perfectly done. My only gripe is that I wish you could get a bigger pan so that one could cook a larger (14-17") pizza.

I have ordered 4 of these Pizza Cookers. I love em. Takes half the time as the oven and your house stays cooler. The dough, Iget at Trader Joes, pizzas are golden brown. They make great gifts.

Not perfect.
I purchased these skewers b/c I grill lots of vegetables and was tired of veggies spinning on round skewers and falling apart.The flat design of these skewers is a good thing.Food doesn't slip or spin.However, these skewers are extremely wide.So wide, in fact, that one must carefully cut veggies to ensure they aren't too narrow for the skewer.In fact, the shear girth of these skewers often tears smaller veggies apart.Can't say I'd buy these again. ... I don't know how the Eastman Company can claim that this injector is "gourmet"!They are just plain wrong.There is nothing "gourmet" about it.I bought one and maybe it could be called semi-epicurean but definitely NOT "gourmet".If you want something truly "gourmet" then I suggest getting the Basting Gun with Injector by Gourmac (Division of Hutzler Mfg. TONGS WERE DEFECTIVE
The spring on these tongs broke on first use, in September, 2006.This renders them largely useless. I purchased the tongs after reading manufacturer assurances dated many months ago that the spring problem had been repaired.Despite this assurance, I am here to tell you that a pair shipped recently is still defective.I returned them, and I cannot recommend these tongs.

Poor Spring Design
We took a chance on these for part of a Father's Day gift and the piece of metal that acts as a spring broke after only 1 use. After reading the reviews I called the company instead of returning for a refund. They were very nice and sent out another one. This one just broke - exactly like the other one - after about a month of use. The overall design of the tongs is great like other Raichlen products but the construction is severely lacking. Don't waste your money on this model.

Seasoning cast iron cookware the easy way--sort of... lots of steps.
Carbon steel like cast iron does need to be seasoned. But once it's done it's very non-stick.
No You Don't Clean With Soap & Water
I guess I should of gotten the stainless steel wok.It's really a lot of work to clean off the protective coating it comes with & then seasoning the carbon steel wok is really taking a long time.We haven't cooked with it yet.I just wanted to comment it's a real chore to clean and season this thing.You do NOT clean it with soap after it's seasoned, just hot water and a scratcher that has no soap and burn it dry.Just like a cast iron skillet.I'm sure after we get done we'll love it. ... I received this yesterday and tried it out on my Weber Kettle grill today.I preheated it as directed and placed some rib eye steaks on the Tuscan grill.Giving each a quarter turn after two minutes produced a very distinctive diamond-shaped pattern that makes your food look very professionally-grilled.At 14" square, you have a fair-sized grilling surface as well.It is heavy to be sure, but cast iron is one of the best grilling surfaces imaginable and the V-shaped grates will assure you that your food will not only taste great, but look really appetizing too!
