GOOD IDEA;BAD MANUFACTURING!
I bought this grill basket for my husband for Father's Day.According to the description, it had everything we were looking for: detachable handle, separate sections for separate cooking, grilled veggies won't fall through, etc.Unfortunately, the basket is so poorly made that the baskets don't open (without a crowbar!) and the handle neither attaches or detatches without a whole lot of muscle.My husband had to get out his tools and try to rebend the whole thing to get it to function.What an over-priced dissappointment! ... I have always wanted a turkey fryer but they was to spendy and at this price I had to get it although I was a litte reluctant buying it off the internetthen I received it not only was I happy with it,I was also relieved that I didnt get ripped off with Another internet scam(Thats why I ordered through Amazon,so I would be safe from fraud)Anyway I havent yet fried my turkey but I know that they will taste great!!!!!!

Great for stew
I purchased one of these cookers at a grocery store for thankgiving.I didn't find out that amazon carried this brand until I went to the manufarturers website looking for the 10.5 quart fish cooker.I haven't deep fried a turkey and probably won't.My main use will be cooking brunswick stew and chili in large quantities for freezing and cooking fish and chicken wings.I'm considering getting a wok.

Well this unit is as close as you will come to doing just that! Top quality and well worth the price. This thing howls. Neighbors will feel indequate and if your jacked up 4X4 doesn't already cure yours, this will do it.

Price without Quality
Bought this starter at BBQ's Galore for it's large capacity and hefty feel. After three uses the rivets popped out of the sides that hold the grate, I assume from the weight of a full load of charcoal and high heat. The "heat resistant paint" flaked off and the inside rusted despite a dry summer in San Diego. The bottom sagged, I had to drill and screw sheet metal screws into the bottom grate to get a few more uses from this ill made expensive mistake. I borrowed a friends Weber that he's had for 5 years and it is a much better product. The chimmeny effect does work but barely with this poorly designed product. Get the Weber, I just ordered mine from Amazon. I may buy three (BBQ Gifts) for the price of this wretched device.

it's good but could be better.
Well we've only used it once so far but I was a bit disappointed. As soon as I got it I noticed that the black paint scratched off. Also, the handle doesn't stay cool as advertised. It did heat the charcoal well so I can't complain too much I guess. I also like the fact that it's a square container instead of a cylindar for controlling the coals.
