A1 Official Electric Bug Killer Works Just Like It Should
Put those pesky varments out of their misery just like we used to when I was growing up the old fashioned way. Zap em. This is a great bug zapper for a 9,000 sq. ft. or less yard. It is also very tuff and durable. I have really put it to the test since I've had it. Believe me this is a very reliable product. this thing sux
after a few months of sporadic use I get the famous three blinking lights. the fan starts and stops a few times then the blinking lights start. I mail orderedlast summer so I am SOL but registered here...just to say... that anyone reading this should avoid the flowtron mt-200 like it was a swarm of mosquitos. the performance here in seattle was poor. sirmrks KSCA

Worked well for two years then the fan motor quit.I'm looking into getting a new motor.

Wow where did the bugs go????
This is amazing I check the trap twice a day! The thing is capturing Mosquitos like there is no tomorrow! My kids can go out into the yard without having to put Off on and when we usually have to come in at dusk its not bad at all and we have a stream on our property. Thanks to the folks at Flowtron for letting me use my yard again!Read more

Safe to go outside!!!
I bought one of these off a competing web site last year and paid [money] for it, however, I am very happy with its performance regardless of what I had to pay. I did have problems with it to begin with but then I broke down and read the instructions and learned, for example, that the unit turns its self off when on automatic mode and it gets below 55 degrees and you have to replace the Octenol tables once a month. Now that I have it set up correctly it draws Mosquitoes away from my deck kills them. It kills lots and lots of Mosquitoes, I didn't know I had that many Mosquitoes. I don't understand why people are having problems with their PowerTrap, but my guess is that they don't have it set up correctly. ... Read more

Not bad but ...................
If you're like me, I wanted the DR Chipper Shredder but don't have the $1500.You can put a Volkswagon down through that baby. lolInstead, I bought this not wanting to spend a lot of money on a chipper shredder.It was a ...*^%#*to put together by myself.The big round top just didn't want to stay together.It took two of us to man handle it.If you don't mind running a drop cord all over your lawn this is ok but I would suggest going with a gas one if you can find one.I now place it in my garden and bring the leaves to it.Thus leaving the compost where I want it in the first place.As the other reviewers have said, This Does Not Mulch Sticks or Wood!If you just put leaves down through it it works great and it doesn't matter if they are wet.Actually the wet ones come out as great compost.You will get tired of changing the plastic cutting lines.I wish they were of a greater diameter but the hole they go through won't allow it.I haven't tried to buy more, like your weed eater string, so I don't know if I can buy that size in bulk and cut it myself or if I have to keep ordering the pre-cut ones from the mfg.Overall, if you just want to mulch leaves this will do, but don't shove anything else down through it.
not reliable
I bought this item November 1, 2003 and used it 3 times last year.Started it on October 21st, 2004 and it ran for avout 1/2 hour and it stopped and will not restart even by pressing on the reset.At this time I cannot recommend the item!

As long as there are no twigs or small branches, this product works exactly as described.But how many trees do you know of that shed only their leaves?Every tree, especially oaks, shed some of their small twigs and branches along with their leaves every fall.It's part of their normal branching and self-pruning physiology. The best defense against roaches
I hate to admit, but we have roaches! Actually, we HAD roaches until last week when I purchased this product. I had tried everything: sprays, bombs, traps, etc... But nothing worked. The first day I plugged this little device in, there was such a great increase in bug activity that my kids wouldn't go into the kitchen. By day 3, the roaches were GONE! They did not make money off me.
This Flowtron machine did not work for us. I do not profess to be an expert, but with West Nile in Illois like it is, I needed something that would give us the freedom to be outdoors. I could not get the thing going and then when it did I caught 6 bugs in a month and a half. I took it back to Costco and got my money back. Power Trap doesn't work in Texas
It would not trap the Asian Tiger Mosquito that inhabited by back yard in Texas

How to Attract Mosquitoes --- Elsewhere
This attractant was easy to handle and apply to the electronic bug zapper. Its adhesive backing should work with a variety of bug zapper models. The insert says that the bug attractant is activated and released by the heat from the electronic device. The ease of handling was important to me because I believe that this is a mosquito pheromone, and one wrong move and the hapless user could be the object of much unwanted mosquito attention.
