I love mine!
I got one of these for Xmas and we have already used it twice.Makes sitting out and watching the stars on a cold night very toasty!

My parents' favorite gift
My parents, unbeknownst to us, had been eyeing Chimeneas and not finding any they wanted to put on their new back porch. When this arrived on their stoop a couple of days before Christmas they were giddy. It assembled easily and looks absolutely fantastic. It's a nice size and also feels much safer than those fire bowls. It really put out a good deal of heat. We are all so happy with it. The only complaint is a small dent in the copper hood, but that should hammer out with a hit or two. A great deal with the free shipping!

Not a bad product
Overall this Sonara is pretty good.Burns hot, and goes through the wood quickly.Inside volume is good enough to burn scrap wood and even bigger logs.It is definitely not for indoors, and warning label says so very clearly.

Beautiful

Nothing like the picture.....
I received my fire pit within a reasonable time, however, it looks nothing like the picture..I purchased this particular item because of the unusual finish & when it arrived the finish is a cheap black paint with some orange showing thru...I am very disappointed.

When the box came, it was over half ripped open.I thought it was either a return or someone opened it and I may have missing parts.It took a long time to assemble.The color was not at all what I expected (black and rust color as opposed to beige and gold) to match my deck which is why I ordered it.I expected the functional burning grill to be larger.Its measurements were from the outside of the grill.The ash drawer does not fit and I guess I will have to take it apart somewhat to enable it to fit.The drawer is about 1/16" too wide to slide in.I do like the shape of the fire pit. ... JUST LOOKING FOR A LEG
I PURCHASE FIREPLACE 44142 AND WE ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH,. BUT BROKE OFF THE LEG WHILE TAKING IT TO VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL. WANT TO KNOW HOW I CAN REPLACE IT. THANKYOU
Extremely poor quality
The firepit was fine for the first few months, then all of a sudden, a leg fell off. I thought it was a loose screw or something, but it turned out that an entire chunk of the metal fell off where the leg was secured. There was a large hole in the bottom of the pit. The metal is very brittle and low quality. Avoid this piece of junk.

This is THE fire pit - a well designed product
If you enjoy campfires or cooking over a wood fire, this in my opinion is the best fire pit (hearth) available.I bought mine after using this fire pit at a friend's house where we have the occasional men's night out (we cook thick steaks over the fire and philosophize on the big picture issues in life). My family and I use this fire pit frequently on our patio.It's a real treat.It offers a relaxing place to sit and I find that sitting around the fire with friends is very conducive to encouraging conversation.The best feature is the heavy-duty fire bowl.Unlike the flimsy sheet metal competitors, this fire pit will withstand many years of use.The screened cover is nice if you are concerned with occasional sparks, but I removed mine and put it in storage.I also remove the grill when not using the fire pit for cooking. I have no complaints about this product.I will say though that after many years of use and lack of preventative maintenance, the leg on my friend's fire pit broke, however, the manufacturer sent free replacement legs to him after one simple phone call.My fire pit is still holding up fine and I leave it out year round in the elements.I highly recommend this product if you are shopping for a heavy duty fire pit. ... What can one expectfor 10 bucks?
I just bought one of these cheap ($9.50) Chinese cast iron hibachis at a grocery store. My expectations for it were not high, so I'm quite pleased with my purchase since I'd been having trouble finding them.Mine didn't exactly match the picture on the box, but all the parts were there plus an extra nut and bolt. It was easy to assemble despite the somewhat misleading diagram and instructions.Perhaps the fact that I had used these things when I was a student made the assembly easy for me. The price was so low I can afford another one next year if need be but would rather get this one sealed against rust somehow. They DO tend to rust.

Arrived Damaged
This item was placed at the bottom of my doorstep in a ripped boxed that clearly should not have been delivered.Parts were wedged together from the damage.
Not as Advertised & extremely bad packaging
The product bills itself as being cast iron, but it is not.Although one small piece is cast iron, the rest is mostly cheap painted steel.Even worse, the packaging is not suitable and the item arrived damaged.Almost all of the styrofoam was broken and the box was badly damaged with gaping holes.As soon as I can get ahold of customer service I will return this. ... Nice in Garden
The sunflower Bird Feeder/Sundial looks very nice in my garden and I use it to give water to the birds and butterflies.Item was as described.The problem I ran into was that the support stake did not screw into the sundial as there was excess metal around the threads.It took me quite a while to file this metal off in order to insert the support stake and it is not in all the way either.This does not really affect the use of the sundial as I think most people would just set it flat on the ground.I have no idea how to position the sunglower to make use of it's sundial abilities.

I really like the look of this product. It is sturdy and requires little maintance. But when I received the feeder, it was in pieces. There were no instructions included. After I finally figured out what went where, the support stake does not screw all the way into the feeder. So this is a good product if you don't want to use the support stake. ... Read more
