Pretty Sundial
I've had my sundial for a full year and it's been out in the weather for nearly that long. It still looks great! The mourning doves like to eat their seed out of it on the ground nearly every day. It is made very well and I am confident that it will last for many more years to come.

Unpleasant surprise
When I opened the package I was very pleased with the quality of the sundial...it has a pretty design, nice color and finish, etc.After only 2 weeks in the garden there are already rust spots on the raised parts of the design.Buyer beware!

outstanding
This piece has been passed around my nieghborhood for quite some time.Everyone who has used it wants to keep it.I love the fact that it is portable, and we have cooked on it: Lobsters, Steak, Chops, It's all great!Just be sure you understand it's more of a social gathering place than a cook top.The logs take a long time to develop the coals needed to cook, however, that's the fun!!!!We love to watch football and stir the fire, and what a fire!! Do not use on a deck, and if you love your lawn, place some bricks under the pit. We love it!I am buying one for my friend. Good luck!

The Pits
We followed assembly and use instructions and were fortunate to enjoy our Fire Pit for 1 1/2 years before it cracked where a wheel attached.My resourceful civil engineer husband made a repair using a metal bracket, which he thought would hold the thing together.We lent it to a friend for a party and were embarrassed to find that the pit cracked again, with both wheels falling off, and our friends felt terrible.I understand the rave reviews--early on--but I would be surprised if anyone has gotten more than a couple of years of use from one of these models.Considering all the other people's cracking problems, this seems to be a poor design to me.

The Propane ones are better!
At the same price, the Coleman Gas Hearth is the one to get. I have friends that have had big problems with the wood burning units from a health and safety standpoint and have also had their neighbors complain about the smoke. Thanks to their experiences, I will be buying the gas unit instead. Another plus is that there is no cleanup necessary with gas. The wood ones are a mess to clean up!

Outdoor Fireplace
My husband and I have always wanted a fireplace....... We ordered this and recieved it with no problems. It stands approx. 5 ft. tall and needs to be put together. It only took a few minutes to assemble and we've gone out to the patio for quite a few relaxing fires already. It shows no signs of wear, even after a few real blazing fires. We love it........Our neighbors have even commented on how nice it smells outside at night.We enjoy it very much and plan to make good use out of it. It is very relaxing. We both recommend this product highly. We've had this product for over a month now and have made countless fires in it. There has been no peeling of paint or warping of any kind. It is in mint condition. We do plan to cover it, during the colder months, but we are well pleased with our purchase.

A non-show
While this looks like it might be a good product, I ordered it on the first of August and have waited for its delivery, only to be told several times that there is a shortage in inventory.Seems that these are really not available.Do not waste precious time ordering this product. ... Read more

GREAT LITTLE DITTY
If you are expecting a HUGE Chiminea, then move on.But if you want a medium sized one that is easy to assemble and good looking then this is the item for you.It took about 10 minutes to put together with two people (and I am not mechanically inclined) and it feels very solid, not flimsy or cheap.It is probably about 30 lbs.I used one half of a Duraflame (fake fire log) in this chiminea the first time I used it and I was glad I did.The burning area is kind of small and if I had used a full log I would have had an inferno!Even with the small log, the flames lept out of the unit a bit so keep it away from anything flammable.Maybe regular wood/sticks would work better I don't know, I have yet to try that.

Great bang for the buck!
Excellent design and pretty easy to assemble.The only downfall to this item is during assembly do not place too much force on the bolts as the item can crack pretty easy (only at the bolts) due to the nature of the metal itself.Other than that I must say for this is the best design and price point for a chiminea I have ever seen.The 360 degree range of heat is great for guest and of course since it is not a typical mexican chiminea (clay type), you do not have to worry about the chiminea cracking and killing your whole deck if not worse.I would highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a nice and effective source of outdoor heat. ...
