5-0 out of 5 stars Very much satisfied with Weber Q 200
Brought mine last week and already cooked thrice so far. Excellent results, cant stop loving the Weber Q 200.

4-0 out of 5 stars Some limitations
This is a good grill. However, to be honest, it is a little underpowered when compared to a good full size gas grill. That's the sacrifice you have to make when you want portability. Also, because part of the grid is the deflector shield for the flame, there are parts of the grid that are not open to below and becomes hard to clean. Finally, there is no way to beat the power and flavor of charcoal, so I still use charcoal once in awhile even though I have two gas grill.

2-0 out of 5 stars Overpriced, underpowered, faulty
Our Q200 arrived with a faulty ignition system.Since purchasing we saw a review of this item in the local paper, and their's also had a faulty ignition system. We reported the problem to Weber which quickly sent out -- a replacement, but sent the part for a different model. So we are still lighting by hand. The Weber does cook food well, but remember that unless you spring for the Q300 you get only one burner, and no warming plates -- fine if you are cooking a few burgers, but a problem if you are cooking multiple items. It means that you have to magically cook everything so that it is done simultaneously in order to keep all items warm.I can only assume that all the positive reviews come from people who have never cooked with gas before, and are thrilled at the easy and even cooking that this, and most gas BBQs provide. But anyone with experience with a larger home unit providing multiple burners will find the Q Series a frustrating experience. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Phenomenal grill for camping
While we've used Coleman folding stoves for years, if you have trunk space, there is no reason on earth to limit yourself to a small stove when you can grill with this wonderful tabletop grill. The small tank makes this practical for camping. If you want real barbecue while tenting under the stars, and you camp where a tailgate or a picnic table is available, this is a great choice for camping equipment. We still like the Coleman for boiling water, but I love barbecuing on a propane grill like this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great little grill
We bought this for use at a beach house, the grills provided at the houses are always dreadful. It worked perfectly to grill shrimp, hamburgers and hot dogs.It is easy to transport and easy to use with very little assembly required.

1-0 out of 5 stars weber gas go anywhere grill going back in the box!
This "grill" is an oven in disguise. The first time we used it we left the enclosed large metal insert in place and ruined (baked)$25 worth of T-Bones. On our second attempt to grill on it we removed the large metal insert but the flames were so low that it was still ineffectual as a flamebroiling grill. There went another $20 bucks worth of beef! Not at all the happy grilling experience I remember from years ago with my original weber portable grill. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny!
I had wanted one of these for a few years, but had to wait for my old CharBroil to finally die before I could justify it.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great Grill
We like the grill a lot.Good size, and easy to use.I will say, however, that it took my husband longer than the "40 minute" estimate to put it together...more like 2 hours.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Grill
I just bought this grill, after struggling with my $3,000.00 Lynx grill for most of the summer.I am a cook by trade, and got the Lynx through sponsorship, but I have to say, I HATE it.Pure and simple, the Weber is the best grill on the market.Period.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best grill ever
This grill works great and really survives the elements. It looks brand new even after a stormy winter on our Chicago balcony.I highly recommend it for smaller places because the shelves fold down and out of the way when not in use.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fours year and still going strong
I purchased this grill for my husband four years ago and we are still very happy with it.It has held up very well. When we were having problems with it lighting the back burner, I called customer service and they were extremely helpful. They saved me buying a whole new burner set by explaining to me how to remove the tubes, check and clean them.We are now replacing the racks and flavorizer bars ($60.00) since they are just too hard to clean after all this time.I have found replacement parts at Home Depot and Lowes which is a plus to know I can easily get the parts.I don't see us haveing to buy a new grill anytime in the near future.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great grill
This is one fantastic grill. It is easy to ignite and heats up faster than Death Valley in July. Cleaning is easy with removable parts. For maximum effect, I suggest some type of grill cleaner to dissolve the carbonized left overs. That will make your BBQ look like new. There's some assembly required which took us about twice as long as the directions say it should, but once you taste your steaks and burgers, you will never be sorry you made the purchase. ... Legendary Weber quality, tons of thoughtful features, and built-to-last construction make this propane-fueled gas grill a solid choice for years of pure grilling pleasure. Three high-grade stainless steel burners run the length of the durable, thick-walled cast-aluminum cookbox, inputting a powerful 36,000 BTU per hour and producing exceptionally even heat without hot or cold spots. Each burner is individually controlled to enable either direct or indirect cooking, while the infinite control valves allow exceptionally precise temperature control. 611 inches of total cooking area provide enough room to cook for even large parties and include a convenient warming rack, to keep already-cooked foods warm or toast hamburger buns, and a warm-up basket, to cook easily burned foods like fish or vegetables and to provide more warming space. Weber's Crossover ignition system makes starting the grill easier than ever, lighting all three burners in succession with just the push of a button. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Gilling Heaven
After gilling on an undersized two-burner Char-Broil for ten years, I decided it was time to upgrade to a Weber.I have used the gril now for a few weeks and it is the best - for direct grilling, perfectly searing steaks, grill roasting, and even slow barbecuing.
5-0 out of 5 stars I couldn't be happier!
I just got this grill a couple of days ago and I am psyched!
5-0 out of 5 stars Top of the line
The best thing about this grill is that it has two "swing up" surfaces for holding your platters or foods to be prepared.A great work surface, easy cleaning, and no cold spots within the cook area make this top of the line.Looks great too! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I'm thoroughly impressed!!!
This is the best grill I have ever owned! It is an absolute joy to use and I am thrilled with it!
5-0 out of 5 stars Weber Grill
This is a great grill.I put off buying this because I thought 36,000 BTU wouldn't be adequate for searing steaks and grilling all the foods I like to cook.I was wrong-This grill is far superior to the cheap Chinese-made 60,000 BTU,403 stainless steele grills.Design and efficiency characterize this grill, because it looks good and cooks great and lasts a long time on a tank of propane.Buy this grill, you will be glad you did.
4-0 out of 5 stars Grill Storage
The Genesis C is very well built but allows water to enter the storage area when it is in the rain without a cover.I built a wooden platform that fits in the bottom of the storage area to hold the parts that I wish to store. Now that I have acquired a cover and use it all the time, I no longer see water puddling in the bottom of the storage area. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The DIfference between a Weber and a "cheapy"
My old Grill was well over-due for replacement, and so I started doing some research into a replacement. My previous grill was a Coleman, and had lasted a good 10 years, although the cooking quality had definately deteriorated.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great Product! Great Customer Service!
I received my grill on time via EGL. I am highly satisfied and will purchase again from Amazon!
5-0 out of 5 stars Great Purchase
My 15 year old son put the grill together while I was as work. The grill has a very even heat distribution and very good heating controls.I have cooked steak at high temperatures and chicken at low temperatures. All items have come out great so far.

5-0 out of 5 stars My second Webber grill
In 1993 I bought my first Webber gas grill. When we moved last year to Arizona we finally scrapped the grill after 12 years. The only parts that we ever had to replace were the flavorizer bars, because they were made of steel. Unlike the new grillwhere everything is stainless steel, except the sides, and rear back panel of the grill base. The new grill has an insulated stainless steel hood which seems to require a lower setting on the burners to cook with.Last year (2005) I bought a grill from a local Sears store cause it was on sale for half the price of my new Webber. After a year of problems with the grill running out of propane with the tank half full, and dripping grease all over the ground at each corner of the grill, I realized that you get what you pay for. I then started looking at another Webber grill, and chose the Genesis Platinum B.Other than the directions which I feel could use more text along with illustrations which caused me snap 2 fastener bolts in the legs that I had to drill out (my fault for not looking at the illustrations more closely) I am more than pleased with this grill. We have been able to cook shish ke-bobs, baby back pork ribs, turkey breast and have them come out very juicy with only 1 burner going at about 1/2 setting. Again I am happy to have a Webber grill again. As far as Webber's cutomer service goes I had to ordersome regulator knobs for my old grill and Webber sent them to me at no charge even though I told the service rep that the knobs were stolen off the grill and not broken. They still replaced them for me. It is customer service like this that more companies need today.

5-0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect
I've been searching opinions on Amazon and other sites for some time and finally decided to spring for the Weber. My old grill was prone to flare-ups and uneven heating - so bad that I had to flip the chicken every 5 minutes, and sometime ended up finishing it in the oven so the skin was not totally blackened.Cleaning the enamel coated grates was also a big pain. They didn't rust, but were prone to sticking. The wood side shelves were in horrible condition, one wooden handle had fallen off, and the grill had a considerable amount of rust on the frame.
5-0 out of 5 stars grills as good as it looks
I have nothing but good things to say about this grill.I researched this purchase for quite a while before I bought it, and I am glad that I did.I had always heard people telling me that if I could get any gas grill, get a Weber.I thought that it was a little bit too much money to pay at the time, until I started researching all the other grills out there with exactly the same features. All of the grills that had similar features were more expensive than the Weber, and sometimes, didn't have all the options that the Weber offered.Plus, the waranty on the Weber is outstanding, and all of the reviews that I have read on the Weber website were extremely positive concerning their support of their products.Well, all of that came to only one conclusion:I was getting a Weber!

4-0 out of 5 stars Overall a great grill
I've had my Gold C for a couple of months now.It was an upgrade from an old Charbroil I had for about 10 years.I just did not realize how horrible that old grill was.The Weber product is heads and tails above what I was using.Don't let the BTU rating fool you - this grill will sear and char a steak as well as a cast iron skillet.I cooked some Omaha Steaks 6 oz top sirloins today - 8 minutes total cooking time for medium-rare, 10 minutes for medium. And the steaks were blackened but not burnt, just like they came out of my skillet.
5-0 out of 5 stars Weber customer service is top ranked!
I received and have been using my grill for about a month now. Towards the end of the assembly I realized that the entire side burner unit was missing. I've read about the positive reviews given to the Weber customer service department but after dealing with them I would like to give them 5 Stars also. They got my side burner delivered to me free of charge very quickly. But the best part was that I called them 11 PM west coast time and there was somebody there to answer my call. Not an automated answereing service but a real person.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great grill, side burner is a waste.
Save your dough and don't buy the side burner. It has a weak flame. The grill goes through gas like air.

For the serious outdoor chef who wants to cook it all on one grill, Weber’s D6 grill has a full 57,600 BTU primary burner, a commercial-grade side burner, a smoker box with dedicated smoker burner, and a rotisserie attachment for roasting poultry. 2-0 out of 5 stars A Weber should be better
I've had an old Weber for 15 years - still works well! However, as it was getting too small for my growing needs and starting to show its age, I "upgraded" to this model.
4-0 out of 5 stars My Last Grill and Testament
It's hard to do better than a Weber and this grill has not disappointed in the two years I have owned it.I use it 3-4 times a week and have cooked just about everything you can imagine on it.I am very satisfied with its performance, but it has a few minor flaws.I still have my Genesis series propane grill that is still fine after 12 years, but it was not big enough so I moved up.
5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Grill!!
Overall, this is an outstanding grill. I've had it for a year, and it's been awesome. It Gets hot quickly, it sears food well, and it has all the bells and whistles.

An electronic crossover ignition system lights all burners in succession with just the push of a button. The Summit Gold A4 also comes loaded with highly-functional extras such as a fixed commercial-grade thermometer, three sturdy tool holders, and a roomy enclosed storage area with stainless steel doors and a heavy-gauge steel bottom shelf. One removable and two swing-up work surfaces offer plenty of space to spread out sauces, marinades, utensils and other prep essentials plus, they're made from granite-look Thermoset for maximum durability, heat and weather resistance, and easy cleaning. Like all Weber gas grills, the Summit Gold also employs heavy-duty, stainless steel Flavorizer bars to eliminate flare-ups caused by lava rocks and ceramic briquettes. Fats and juices hit the angled bars and sizzle away, adding delicious, smoky barbecue flavor instead of flames. A slide-out bottom tray funnels grease into a removable catch pan for quick and simple clean-up. The Summit Gold A4 is as durable, safe, and efficient as it is convenient. Its stainless steel hood features double-wall construction, adding a layer of insulation to trap heat and protect against unsightly discoloration no matter what the weather. Rugged, weather-resistant wheels are crack-proof in the most extreme temperatures and allow easy transport, while locking casters prevent the grill from rolling while you cook. Burners even have screens to keep spiders from spinning combustible webs inside. Best of all, ten fasteners are all that's needed to put this grill together--meaning you'll go from box to barbecue in less than 40 minutes. Included is a 20-pound tank to hold liquid propane and an easy-to-read fuel gauge. The Summit Gold A4 measures 62-1/2 inches tall, by 60 inches wide, by 34-1/2 inches deep. Backed with a limited lifetime warranty, this grill’s made in the USA. Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Worst Grill I have ever had
I was the kind of person who bought a new grill every 2 years because the less expensive grills I bought would last about that long. I saved up some money for a good gill and always heard how great webers were. I compared with 2 other competitors who had more features for less money but I was afraid I would just be buying another expensive grill in 2 or 3 years so I bought this Weber. It NEVER cooked evenly and it did not even last 6 months before breaking. I would not recommend this grill to anyone. BUY A DIFFERENT BRAND this not worth the money at all.

5-0 out of 5 stars What a grill!
I bought this grill about a year ago. While researching grills, some of the reviews said that it did not heat up quickly. That is totally wrong - it gets hot in a hurry.I love the four burner design which allows me to do indirect cooking.I often cook "beer can" chicken and the high hood and ability to turn off one side of the burners really works well. The electronic ignition works great every time and the fold up side tables are nice. The quality is generally excellent although I agree that a heavier cooking grate should have been standard.I bought the custom cover and it fits great and is very heavy duty.We grill year round and were looking for something that would last.I believe I'll still be using this grill 10 years from now.

5-0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Quality
This is the best grill I have ever owned by far. After re-building several Char-Broil units, and using a Weber on Vacation, the decision to buy the BEST was easy. The construction and quality is wonderful. The temp control and even cooking is amazing. No more hot/cold spots due to un-even temp.I see why this product has such owner loyality. This unit will last for a long time, but if I ever need to go shopping for another grill; Weber will be my firts choice. ... Featuring durable, stainless steel construction and legendary Weber reliability, the Summit Gold line represents the peak of gas-grill performance, with the added attraction of a smoker box and rotisserie attachment for the serious outdoor chef. With an input of 57,600 BTUs per hour, this propane grill offers enough firepower to sear foods for true-grilled taste. Six rust-resistant stainless steel burners run the length of the cookbox for exceptionally even and powerful heating without hot or cold spots, while infinitely-adjustable burner valves lend the flexibility needed to cook with both direct and indirect heat. A spacious 902 inches of total cooking area provides enough room to cook for even the biggest groups, and includes a convenient warming rack and a warm-up basket for cooking easily-burned foods like fish or vegetables. A commercial-grade side burner cooks side dishes and sauces while meat grills, and a dedicated smoker burner heats a stainless steel box designed to hold wood chips for smoky "low-and-slow" barbecue-style cooking. The infrared rotisserie burner radiates even heat to meats placed on the stainless steel rotisserie attachment powered by a heavy-duty 110-volt motor. An electronic crossover ignition system lights all burners in succession with the push of a button.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Why's A Negative Review For A Natural Gas Weber Under A Propane Category?
The only criticism below seems way over the top. It's for a natural gas weber and this is the web page for a propane one. What's that all about?
5-0 out of 5 stars Grills like a dream
I bought this grill from Amazon and in short everything worked right out of the box.I bought the grill so that I could sear steaks, grill for a party and cook BBQ low and slow all in one grill.I have had nothing but success, great grill marks and I am able to maintain a 230-250 degree temperature for BBQ (with smoker box for great flavor). The six burners plus the smoker burner and wide cooking surface allow me to tailor the temperature perfectly. The setup instructions were clear and I was able to assemle it myself.I am very pleased with my purchase of the Summit Gold D6 and knowing Weber will be around for as long as I will own this grill as also very reassuring.
1-0 out of 5 stars Overpriced, poor quality, poor support
I bought this grill about recently from a local store. For close to $2000, I thought it would work like a dream.

5-0 out of 5 stars Always Grillin'
As a person who grills during all seasons, I am very picky about grills and their components.Found this Webber and looked into all aspects of grill (rotisserie and all).Found that rotisserie was not necessary for my type of grilling, and saved about $350.I love this grill. True to temp. and fast heating. From steaks to vegies, thie grill is the best I have ever had. You'll love it

5-0 out of 5 stars Mack Daddy of Grills
I have to admit that I had a hard time choosing between the Summit Platinum B6 Propane Grill and the D6, the only difference being the rotisserie. In the end, I realized that I didn't eat a lot of chicken on the grill (give me steaks or tuna), so I didn't pay the extra $300 for something I was likely not going to use (therotisserie).I am extremely happy with this grill.First of all, friends, it's just absolutely gorgeous. The stainless steel is beautiful and very easy to clean.Secondly, this bad boy cranks up to full heat in less than 10 minutes.Thirdly, the heating is sufficient to sear tuna (1 minute per side with sashimi grade ahi tuna, and perfection) or steak without cooking it all the way through. Finally, the heat is even throughout, and the adjustable burners make for very easy indirect cooking.
