So Easy!
This was the easiest product to assemble I have ever bought. It seems quite sturdy, too. I got it to be a grooming "table" for my dog, and after adding freestanding doggy stairs it's just great. I intend to store birdseed there like another reviewer; however I'll have to weight the lid because our raccoons are very clever and strong. Anyway, I would definitely recommend this product.

It's too small and you can't return it once it's assembled.
I thought my outdoor chair cushions would fit because the advertised dimensions of the deck box are a couple of inches larger than the cushions.Wrong!Once I got it assembled I learned that the INSIDE of the box is only 17 x 19 x 37 inches.The box is really sturdy, though, because I was unable to disassemble it in order to return it.Suncast's customer service department confirms that once the box is assembled it's permanent. So I'm stuck with it.I'm sure I can find some use for the box but will have to store my chair cushions somewhere else.

This is so great!The size is perfect for my deck cushions and pillows.I was concerned that I would have a problem putting together, but I did it alone in less than 5minutes.This is a great value for how large the box is.

Pretty doggone handy, but wheels are on only one side.
The subject line sums it up here, meaning this storage box is pretty doggone handy, but I did not realize the wheels are on only one side of the storage box, not both. It makes it easier to drag it around, but it'd be nice if there were wheels on BOTH ends. It couldn't cost them that much more to take that leap in my view. However, I got A LOT of stuff in this bench, managing to clear out my laundry area so I could actually put laundry there, not everything else. Among the items that are now comfortably relegated to this storage bench are a drill, couple of saws, socket wrenches, two small tool boxes and one bigger one, two 20-pound bags of dry dogfood, assorted dog treats, leashes, flea collars and repellants, and three paint recpetacles and inumerable paint rollers, brushes, et cetera. I have room to put more in there if I choose. ... It's held far, far more than I dreamed it would. I am quite satisfied. It really was no-tool assembly, too, which I really didn't expect either. I put this on my small patio, and it is great! It will not hold a large amount of items, but will hold many small items, for example, you could fit a 50 ft. hose, watering can and a couple chair pads, and some rope. Needed to Fix it.
This item worked well the first year. But after year #1 the assembly part that you attach your hose to failed. It is a tube with a plastic plug in the end. Well...the plug pushed out of the end of the tube caused by the water pressure. I tried to glue it with Gorilla Glue(TM), but it only held up for a day before popping out again. I finally put the plug in and drilled a hole through the outside wall of the tube and the plug while it was in place. I then slid an opened paper clip through the tiny hole to lock it in place. Then I filled the tube cavity with silicone to seal the tube. It has held up so far. What a pain. I did like the easy crankability and how easily the hose tracks onto the reel.

Really Shabby Shipping
I just returned the first one of these I purchased from Amazon because it arrived in a crushed box and was warped. When I got home from the post office I saw that the replacement one had arrived. The box was crushed even worse than the first one, and the reel had stains on it. It appears to be a return. Since the reel is less warped than the first one, and since it is such a pain to ship it back, I probably will keep this one. But due to such lousy shipping I certainly will look at Amazon's competitors when I order my next item.

Love the design but...
I'm in Alaska and the shipping is outrageous on this one! It weighs about 2 lbs. in the box & I cannot understand why it would be so expensive. The Wall-Mount Sidetracker Hose Reel is exactly what I wanted, I like the idea of no clutter or problems of reeling up the hose (neat & tidy) Just guide the hose with one hand while winding with the other. Trash Hideaway a good idea
This is a good concept but beware sharp edges inside when lifting out the bag. You may want to line this with a separate plastic bag to prevent tearing.

This is a fine garbage can for my family & daycare. We emptied the old one, two or three times a day, now just in the evening. Any time I can save to be with the kids is golden. It hides finger marks well. It was easy to put together. Very strong.

Great Value
This shed would get 5 stars if it came with a shelf.I use the shed for extra storage and it really is weatherproof.This is the second suncast shed I bought and I would not have bought it if I was not happy with my other one.This product would be even better if it had more than one allotment for shelving, but a little creativity and sturdy crates make it a great buy for the cost when you compare it to other makers. During a rainstorm, you don't have to worry.

Just right for outdoor storage, a little small, needs small tool solution
Relatively easy to assemble. Definitely keeping the weather out. Great for storing long-handled tools, not so great for smaller tools. Needs a wire basket or some other way of storing smaller tools such as clippers and trowels, away from the bottom. I'm hoping to solve that problem, and when I do, I will consider this purchase a success. It's not as attractive as a wood shed, but for the money, and if you don't have much space, this is a good solution.

Great as a door stop!
The unit is very poorly made, came apart three times in the first month of use. The hose guide has totally fallen apart and the guides simply fell out of the unit.Installed as per instructions after I purchase the necessary bolts which do not come with the unit however it is very wobbly at best.Unless you are installing it on a brick wall you need to take care that the mounting holes are 15" apart not 16" to fit normal stud location.I will be replacing it with a Rapid Reel or similar unit.

Good little shed
The item arrived about three weeks after it was ordered.
Horrible Customer Support
Misunderstood directions, made mistake of putting all sides together instead of a level at a time.Cracked all sides trying to take apart. Called 800 # and asked what they could do for me and they said Buy another one, they're not responsible. Also found out the box had two right side upper levels and it will take 7 days till the left side is sent. Suncast will never get my business again and I hope my warning will discourage others from doing business with this company.

Needs at least 1 or 2 shelves included
This is a solid body storage building exactly as advertised. My goal was to store a mower, trimmer, blower, gas and miscellaneous items. I had to build a shelf (not included) notch it to fit and install it before putting roof in place. It works great for gas and miscellaneous items leaving room for taller items but they must be tilted some. If you have a mower with retractable handles (which I do not) it will fit in this building. (So mower is still out) Other than that it has cleared up the mess in the back and locks the flammables up too.

You won't be thrilled
This product is of dubious design and quality. Using it provides for a garden hose management solution that is moderately better than just keeping the hose in a pile. The plastic used is thin and it appears a matter of time before something goes awry and breaks or falls off. Also - assembly is not difficult but you can tell the engineering behind the product is second rate. It works for now but I am less than confident in this being a long term solution. Its one of the cheapest hose-coiling devices available and when you get it you will see why you saved some money on it - because its not a good product.

I am impressed with this product. All the parts were clearly marked. All the parts were included in the box. The directions were excellent. No complaints here.

Pricey for what you get, if you get it at all.
I was more or less forced to buy this product because I had very precise size requirements and this product fitted them.I was very disappointed by the quality of the product for the cost.It comes in about 19 different pieces, all of which are a hollow plastic polymer.It is fairly lightweight, which could be good or bad depending on what you plan to do with it.At the $200+ price, you'd think they would include a shelf, but they only give you a stencil to make it yourself out of 'shelving material'.

Didn't even get to use it once.
This hose real is made out of poly-resin and all the connector pieces are plastic.While I was "assembling", I was hand tightening the short hose that goes between the house and the reel, and the connector clean snapped off.For goodness sakes, I am a programmer so I can't be that strong!
Low priced but you get what you pay for
this is probably the lowest priced hose reel you can find, but don't expect much. the handle and reel are plastic and will break with time and usage. i had one and it lasted one year, with fairly light use (i'm not shopping for a better replacement and saw this unit and thought i would share my experience). it leaked, so i had to constantly shut the water off at the faucet. also, i believe the design of the inlet valve is poor and significantly reduces the water pressure.if all you're looking for is a way to hide and unsighlty hose, this might be good enough for you. if you are planning to use it often, invest in something more sturdy. ...
