American Flag
The flag was received in a timely manner.It is high quality and I am very pleased with the purchase.Will buy again from this company.

Not as pictured
This flag is pictured with a rope and thimble. The flag shipped just has grommets. The seller does not reply to emails about the discrepency. They leave the incorrect picture posted, even though they have been informed. Not a good way to do business.

A very nice surprise!
I bought one of these flags as a replacement for one of those cheapo jobs sold in grocery stores which had finally whipped itself into tatters.

Easily mounted on either a vertical surface like a wall or a horizontal surface like a roof, this 2-1/2-by-4-foot U.S. flag will wave in tricolor triumph through many holidays. It's made of heavy nylon, with double-stitched red and white stripes and embroidered white stars on the familiar blue background. It dries quickly after rain, resists fading in sunlight, remains durable in wind, and yet is light enough to flap in the slightest breeze. The 5-foot wood pole (topped by a round knob) slides through a sleeve in the flag, and the flag attaches to the pole with a spring clip (included). The pole comes in two sections that screw together. For mounting, there's a white plastic flag-holder bracket that requires just four screws (included) and adjusts with a twist of a knob to 13 different positions. Very nice flag, but come on, why not make the pole and bracket in the States as well?I think at least on the purchase of the American Flag, I should not fund the Chinese military.

The flag attaches with simple snap hooks to a thick nylon halyard that hauls the flag up a sturdy, 2-inch diameter, 20-foot (above-ground) satin-finish aluminum pole. The halyard runs through a nylon pulley in a cast-aluminum "truck" at the pole's top and ties to a 6-inch cast-aluminum cleat. Above the truck, a 3-inch diameter gold ball, anodized like the pole for hardness, screws into the pole, and a setscrew keeps the ball securely in place.Read more

Very happy with the flag and flag pole
I was very happy to receive this product and love it.So far there are no problems.

Pretty nice Flag Pole
I had my flag pole set up (in cement) and flying the flag without much trouble.The flag is nice and of good quality.The pole seems slightly cheap to me.When I put all the pole sections together they don't make a perfectly straight pole...so the pole leans slightly.I notice things like this but I would guess the average person would just see a nice flag pole.The pole also moves around in the wind more than I thought it would, even without the flag.Overall I would buy it again, but I think if I move and want another flag pole I would go with one that is 1 solid pole without sections.

not worth it!
we got our flag and was quite thrilled to receive it.we put it together, didn't have any trouble there except the eagle wouldn't stay in.when we attached the hardware to the house and put the flag in, the flag pole wouldn't stay in so we had to screw that into the hardware also.the poles rusted after the first rain and after the first wind storm the flag pole bent in half and broke.waste of money!

Don't buy this flag kit
I received my flag as promised with in about 7 to 10 days. I opened it and was disappointed because I saw it was not exactly as described on line, it was cheap looking and when I tried to put it together the metal rods would not slide into each other very easy (one of the rods was bent). I tried to force it and it slipped and the sharp metal edge slashed two knuckles on my right hand. Looking at the cuts on my hand I knew the metal had done some serious damage to my middle knuckle I drove myself to the emergency room where I got 7 stiches. Since I just decided to go into business for myself I quit my job and lost my medical insurance and had to pay the 300.00 bill plus the bill for the cheap flag. I never received my free pinwheel that was promised as a free item with the purchase of my flag just an email 2 weeks after I got my flag stating the pinwheels were not available after all. If you buy the flag becareful they are dangerous if defective.

Buy a better kit
The aluminum pole has collapsed several times (it's in 3 pieces) and the flag attaches to one side of the pole with plastic pushins. You'll end up buying a better one in the end - save yourself a headache and buy a better one in the first place! ... Read more
