So far -so good!
I use this trimmer for the trimming (and edging) around the lawn mostly. I hesitated to take it into the weeds because of some of the reviews... But I did and I was very happy with how it cut them down!

When it works it works great, but...
I purchased this product about two years ago and it's great for cooking meats on the grill. No more second guessing whether the chicken is done (or overdone).
A real lemon.
Used it 4 times and it worked great. The fifth and last time I tried it, (it's now going into the trash can.)it gave such a false reading that I screw up my nice lamb shoulder. Best to use the old fashioned instant thermometer - at least it's accurate. So there you are - $39 for a usless thermometer and $11 for a ruined lamb shoulder.

great while it lasted
This product was great for the first 3 months of use. It worked really well and we were very happy campers. Our friend bought one and his lasted through only 2 uses, ours died unexpectedly after s couple months usage.

Great Cover, Excellent Value
I have tried many grill covers in the past, ones you buy locally, thin and flimsy and last about one season. This cover is an excellent value, very well made. I live in a very hot windy climate and so far this is the best value for a grill cover that I have been able to find. The hook and loop fasteners on the side along with the weight of the cover will keep it in place through all types of weather. The heat resistant material that the cover is made of is a big plus, you can place the cover on a hot grill only after about 5-8 minutes of cooling. The cover is also very easy to clean, spray it off with the hose and dry it with a clean towel if desired.

DOES AS EXPECTED
Bought this to replace a flimsy cover I got for $15. This one is doing what I expect it to do -stay even when the wind is howling, protect the grill from the outdoor elements, not tear with constant taking off and putting back on since we use our grill a lot during summer. GOOD DEAL for the price.

There are two ways to measure the quality of an insect zapper. First, how powerful is it light? That will determine from how far away insects will be attracted. Second, how powerful are its "shocks"? That will, of course, determine what happens to the hapless critters. The Flowtron BK-40D performs both of these admirably.
Noisey and Kills squirrels.
I purchased this item a few weeks ago to mainly kill fly's. It seemed that this wasn't happening as there were fly's still around and no evidence of fly's being killed. At night there would be a lot of flying bugs getting zapped though the noise would make you jump every time. It scared my Labrador Retriever to the extent she would not go outside after dark. The final straw happened when a young squirrel laid dead underneath it with no marks on it at all, I could only figure that it had got zapped. Impressed
Like some of the other reviewers, I had a previous 6V version of the trimmer (purchased in 1993 for around $50). I always used that one for light trimming and if I tried trimming anything thick, the weeds would often jam up the spool. I bought the new version at Home Depot ($49-10% local coupon) and I was thoroughly impressed when I used it for the first time today. Either my old one really sucked, or this one is the real deal. I could tell by the sound of it that this one had much more power. In fact, it sounded very similar to electric trimmers I have used in the past. The trimmer was able to chop down some pretty nice sized weeds without problems. I also noticed that I was sprayed with weed and grass remnants which had never happened before. I think weight-wise it is pretty similar to the older model, but it feels more ergonomically correct. I probably looked goofy using it because I had a big grin on my face due to being impressed with the power of the trimmer. It can only be compared to going from driving a 4cyl car to an 8 cyl car. Hopefully I can get 13 years out of this one.

Battery dies after 15 minutes - Bad design
I was fairly happy with this weed trimmer when I first bought it.However after using it for over a year now, I'm ready to get something a lot less frustrating.
OK trimmer, really geared for specific yards/people
This trimmer has worked well with the bump feed working perfectly.However, the unit is fairly heavy (I weight-lift two times a week and I found this to be heavy and exhausting after 40 minutes).Plus, it is hard on the back as I had to crouch down --so, this would work well for small jobs (houses with not many edges and for people less than 6'0 feet tall) ... In a pinch, can be used for other similiar grills.
My grill isn't a Webber, but I was still able to get it installed by cutting the top of the metal covering the electrode to make room for the burners.
Easy to use but make sure you need it.
Very simple to install if you need a new starter.However, after installing a new starter, new burner tubes, and new flavorizer bars (all easy), I discovered that something was wrong with one of the valves in my manifold.I recommend this kit highly if you need a new starter, but make sure you actually need one.First turn the gas on and spray Windex (easier than soapy water) over everything that might be leaking.

Such high hopes
When I received this clock, I popped in the batteries, and it soon started setting the time...at least until the minute hand hit the fifty-minute mark, from where it refused to move.Upon the advice of tech support, I exchanged the clock, and its replacement kept perfect time...as long as you didn't look at the second hand.The hour and minute hands were dead-on, but the second hand moved at a rate seven seconds per hour faster.No amount of resetting (or tech support) would solve the problem, so I threw in the towel and returned it for a refund.Pity.It's exactly the clock I was looking for...except for the not-working part.

Works Great in a School
I really like these clocks. Our school was constantly having problems with the clocks in all the classrooms being different and this has really helped the situation. The digital ones are better but the La Crosse ones, which are the least expensive, also happen to be the best analog clocks we've tried.

What's that strange noise honey?
The inverter works as adverstised and powers my laptop adequately while driving.The only drawback is that the build-in fan is very noisy, so be forewarned.

This little inverter is perfect because there are no bulky boxes or wires running all over the floor of the car.Perfect for my laptop and for my cell phone charger.It has it's own little fan built in that keeps it from overheating.So far so good!

Well made, plenty of power, a little noisy
I have not tried it with a draw near its max of 175W but at lower draws it is fine and always runs cool, thanks to the built in fan. That is also the only negative I have after a month with the unit -- fan noise. It is loud enough to be noticeable over normal road noise, although the car radio drowns it out at normal volume. I think I can put up with the fan because otherwise it seems a very good unit. Maybe they could hook the fan to a sensor and only have it run when the unit gets hot. Packaging, packaging, packaging...This product was meant to be picked up at your local WalMart or Target...Carried to your car and tenderly moved to your home...Although the outer box was wonderfully packed with plastic air balloons, the product box designer has no idea on how to keep a product safe during shipping...The product arrived and works...However, both dials had fallen off and had to be searched for in the box...The product is cool...However, this was NOT meant to be shipped...

I can't say I've literally tried or tested every counter-top buffet range there is, but this one's construction is clearly superior to all competitor's products.I hesitated - Broil King?Who are they? - sounds like some cheap, discount store brand, but I bought due to the all-steel construction because all the others, made largely out of plastic, seemed seriously cheesy to me.This unit is genuinely solidly built out of all metal, nicely chrome plated with nice quality controls.It works well to boot - like a good quality stove-top.You really get a full range heat control.I use mine at holiday time when my gas range is suffering from no vacancy.This will gently warm things without burning when set at low - a true test of the quality of the unit.Cheaper units "look" like they have full range controls but in fact, you get off and screech.Thanksgiving can be ruined if your mashed potatoes "warming" on your extra burner burst into flames because the "low" setting was mostly wishful thinking on the manufacturer's part.An excellent unit - a bit of an investment, but definitely worthwhile. Do not purchase as shower
Not strong enough to hold even 2 gallons of water in a shower.This is shown with a shower hanging in it but the only way it would hold it is empty.Not usable as a shower.Good if you are looking for privacy or changing room but not for a shower.

Cabana Shelter
Worked good for a shelter to put a porta-potty for the ladies of the camp but was not strong enough to hold shower bottle.We used a 4 gallon bag for showers but tried filling 1/2 way.The shower bag was still way too heavy.We had to deal with some crazy wind and the shelter survived.It laid down a few times but stood back up when wind laid a little.I am happy with the purchase but will probably build a rack out of PVC pipe to support a shower water bag.

chaise lounge
I really liked the chair, very easy to assemble and wanted another until it rained.I too had a lot of staining.I used bleach and water and it came up, but I have had to do this every time and won't be ordering another.I wrote the company and they said to saok it with a hose in the grass.I would probably have to do this for a year to get all of the stain off of it!!!!

ruined my deck
I bought 4 of these in 2005 and had them on grass. I stoered them for the winter and they held up ok. However now the tray on any of them won't slide and I moved them to my new bluestone deck. the stain leeched out all over the deck. DO NOT BUY.

Raw material
I got two of this chaise lounge chairs, but I wasn't sure what kind of wood was used for its construction. I thonk was Teak but not. After I oppened the box the only think I got knew was made it in Vietnam. I live in Mexico, a hundred milles away from the border with Texas. This product does not work
I know there are many people who've posted excellent reviews of this product, and that's what I based my decision to purchase on.However, I have a fairly small yard and no matter where I placed the bug zapper, we were still swarmed by mosquitoes.The zapper did seem to attract a lot of moths and beetles, but those weren't the bugs we were trying to get rid of.I would strongly not recommend this product.

Kills the wrong bugs!!!!
What a waste of money.This type of device has been proven to kill the wrong bugs!!It does not attract mosquitos or black flies or gnats or no-see-ums.Only the bugs that eat them.Consumerreports had show this evidence conclusively.

It scares the dogs
I bought this for out on the patio, where the dogs sleep, to try and kill the bugs but its so noisy when it's zapping the insects that the dogs are scared to stay up on the porch while its running. When a large insect gets in there it can make a loud zap for a long while.

I really like these skewers, but was not impressed with the price.I feel they were too expensive.

I bought several different sized sets of these skewers so I could try them all, including the widest so I could cook ground beef.

If you like grilling kabobs these are great skewers for you.Basically, there are two main types of skewers available in the market.Metal and Wooden.Wooden ones can be made of bamboo or other wood types and often are round shape.The problem with wood skewers is that they can get burnt if the grill is quite hot so you have to soak the skewers in water before use.Also, because they are round, it's difficult to "flip" the skewer so that you can evenly grill the kabobs or whatever else you are grilling.

Need to have replacement line, buy what works, perfectly
I have had my cordless Grasshog for 4 months now, and I tell you, this line and chord system are well engineered, easy to use, self feeding, and easy to replace.I have had no problems, and I do weekly trimming during the summer. This line lasts a lot of hours on standard city lot trimming.There is no reason to try and use a cheep substitute, this last a long time, and is made right for the Automatic Feed System (AFS). Buy it here or any hardware store for around 6-8 dollars.A GOOD DEAL !!!

utensils not that great...
Feels heavy, looks good, and performs well.The brush utensil, though, left behind its shards of 'brushes' as I used it. That's what kept this score low.Purchased the grill, utensils, rotisserie, and cover at the same time.See my other feedback for those items.This is a 'decent' set of 'tools' but you might do better at your local store.
