Excellent feeder!
I have had great results with this feeder all summer! The hummers found it immediately and many, many hummers come here to feed.
This Works...But Is Not So Pretty
I just received the feeder this morning and hung it up in my yard.I put sugar water in the globes, and had a hummingbird feed from it within just 2 hours of hanging it up!I was impressed.BUT, this feeder is not as cute as shown in the picture.It is actually big and bulky.Also, the construction is sub-par.Looks kinda cheap and plasticy.

I bought this product for myself a couple of years ago and love it. It's attractive and it does attract "hummers". Liked it so much that I bought one as an anniversary gift. Unfortunately when it arrived, one of the glass feeders was broken. Very Good Feeder And Build Is Great.
The feeder is very good. It is a heavy good built feeder. You still have to have a feeder pole with long arms and a pole where animals can not go up. A squirrel will go up the pole and hold on and pull the feeder to him. Racoons the same. The key is a good pole system and i found one in the squirrel stopper(see my other reviews). I really enjoy and have fun now at my bird feeding station. I really like Droll Yankees feeders.

No more squirrel problem
Finally, after trying a number of bird feeders and covers, I found a feeder that actually works.Well, in truth, I've never seen a squirrel being "thrown" off the feeder, but for the first time in years, I haven't seen a squirrel on the feeder itself.So, I guess it must be working!Only complaints are that the tube is not very large, so I am refilling it frequently, and there seems to be a lot of seed falling to the ground (where now the squirrels reside).All in all, I would absolutely recommend the Yankee Flipper to solve your squirrel problem.

For the birds!
Birds like different feed: finches like broad seeds or thistles, depending on what kind of finch. Cardinals love sunflowers, goldfinches like thistles. The triple tube lets you lay on the type of seed to attract many sorts of birds, and the copper squirrel baffle is attractive. I love tube feeders and this lets me put up a buffet for our feathered friends.

flimsy construction
* I would not recommend this bird feeder. The tubes that hold the food are fragile and the clips that hold the bottom tray to the feeding tubes are weak. I broke one of them the first time I removed the tray to clean the feed tubes.

More cons than pros for me

beautifully functional
We have another Schrodt Designs that the hummies just LOVE and fight over-they are quite territorial.This new feeder has offered us many wonderful moments of observing the little creatures.I find that, as with the older piece, the red of the flower feeder parts start to fade or loose their color, I get acrylic paint from the craft mart and just paint the flowers red with a bit of yellow on them, and this helps make a target for the hummingbirds to zero in on to feed.I highly recommend this piece.

Very decorative, but impractical
We've had this feeder in use for about four months, and find it a pretty decoration for the yard, but impractical as a feeder.We added this as a fourth feeder in addition to three plastic and glass "Perky Pet" feeders we've been using for several seasons.

This is a beautiful and well-constructed feeder.The parts are study and simple.The parts are easy to take apart to clean and to refill.I live in an apartment with a garden in the middle.It took a while for the hummingbirds to find it at first.Now, the youngsters have grown up and are fighting with other birds to feed in it.They can feed in flight as well as rest on the wooden platform.I found one hummingbird resting on the platform staring off into the distance for quite a long time before taking off!One disadvantage:I would recommend getting some sort of weather dome to hook over the top of the feeder to prevent rain from diluting the nectar.Otherwise hang it in a covered area where rain can't get to it.I take it back in in doors from my balcony when it rains. ... Worth the price
Seemed pricey at first but this feeder has been a source of amusement all summer. Small birds feed, play and sleep on it. Often jostling for position. Nice beveled top and routed base. Had a very wet few months but the feeder is holding up well. Squirrels don't even bother trying to get into it (but then they rarely get up the steel hanging plant stand our three feeders are on--lard or crisco mixed with cayenne pepper on the pole stops that after the first attempt)

This is our first bird feeder ever. It is beautiful, made of very nice wood, and without any major trumpeting attracts all the lovely feathered guests in our backyard and keeps the squirrels away. Could I ask for more?

I really love this feeder.It is beautiful to watch and blends into the pine tree in my court yard beautifully.It is simple to refill and clean.I've put millet seeds, safflower seeds and nyger seeds in it.The finches absolutely fight over this feeder.I've attracted so many birds even my neighbors (i live in an apartment area) noticed the activity around her apartment.The feeder is functional, simple, well-built and beautiful.I've truely enjoyed it.I did not have a squirrel problem but I would be weary about hanging this feeder directly on a tree where a squirrel would have access.Some squirrel precautions should probably be taken with this feeder.This size was perfect for my balcony but not so for the birds.They liked it so much that they ate over 2/3 of the tower each day.Luckily, refilling was easy and the spill tends to be minimal.I also really liked the little drain holes at the bottom of the feeder to allow rain water to drain out.My seeds were never wet for too long in the feeder to cause a problem. ... Pretty, but not very functional
I was excited to order a hummingbird feeder that was different in appearance than the standard Wal-Mart fare.However, once the feeder arrived and I filled it with nectar, I was very disappointed.The poor design of the feeder causes the nectar to pour out with the slightest movement (e.g., in a slight breeze).The design of the feeding tubes (being wide open) also encourages bees and larger birds - such as finches - to raid the feeder.

Almost a great buy
This product is beautiful. And even though it was missing the manzanita branch, I have ordered a second one. The missing branch seems to be a problem with other peoples orders also. Is it on purpose so the maker can save some money, who knows? I hope I don't get ripped off with the second one. pretty
This is beautiful birdbath.If placed on solid ground (walkway, concrete) it will be great. However, if placed in mulch or in the landscape it is not weighted heavily on the bottom.A wind will not send it sailing but will cause it to tip.However, it is beautiful and looks great while it is upright.I am still trying to figure out how to stabilize in the landscape mulch.

Love it - the water sparkles in the sun light and the birds in my yard are already digging it!The petals from my Cherry Blossom tree have fallen into the bath and are floating on top.It is a piece of art in my yard.You need to leave a little room on the edge of the bath so the smaller birds can enjoy the water as well.
