Not a bad little glider for the price. It was a little smaller than I had invisioned, but it will work. It was easy to put toether acording to my Husband but He did have to do a little alteration as one part didn't line up. He also added that the wood that was pieced together was done so in the correct way and it would add to the durability. I guess the bottom line is you get what you pay for and in this case , and in this day and age it was worth the money.

I agree with many of the reviewers who noted that the assembly instructions for this glider could use improvement (though I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour with little difficulty) and the overall quality of the wood is only average.But, that said, ours has held up to two years of steady use on a covered porch with no noticeable problems.The glider mechanism is still very smooth, and the wood is not showing any stress or strain.Bottom line, if you want a perfect, solid wood glider you should expect to pay quite a bit more.But for the price, this is a perfectly fine bench. ... Northern Classics Adirondack Rocker rewiew
I purchased 2 Adirondack Rockers from Northern Classics, and I am glad to give them 5 stars, based on the following: (1) the rockers are well photographed; what I saw in the pictures was exactly what I received. (2) the rockers were shipped well, arriving in a more than timely way and all parts were as promised and secure. (3) It took me 45 minutes to put together the first rocker and 30 minutes for the second. (4) The parts of the rocker were milled correctly (not all items purchased sight unseen are milled correctly, which can make assembly a nightmare.) In addition, the directions were clear. (5) I chose to prime and paint my rockers which was simple because the wood had been well sanded. (6) the finished rockers are comfortable to sit in for someone 5-feet AS WELL AS for someone 6+ feet. And finally, they are beautiful and take up less room on the patio than usual for Adirondacks. All in all, from Amazon's web site to the finished product shipped from Northern Classics, this was a 5-star event, and I recommend them to you unequivocally.

This Hatteras Hammock makes a great Fall gift. A dream comes ture for you as you find yourself setting under a porch watching the leafs fall off the trees is a picture coming true as you set in the hammock.

Great for 5'6" or Less
I love this swing, my husband hates it. I am 5' 5" tall and he is 5' 9". For some reason, he is unable to find a comfortable position when he uses the swing. I am perfectly happy. For him, the lack of back support is bothersome (it leans too far back). We also received one that leans slightly, but were able to correct this. Overall, I do recommend this swing as it is great looking and has high quality fittings. I do not recommend this swing's stand (purchased separately) as it feels flimsy and rocks a great deal. ... Poor Quality and Worse Customer Service
The plastic pieces that hold the rocker togather broke within 2 weeks of purchase. We were traveling in our rv so we were not able to take them back to the original store.I contacted Mac Customer Service and they promised to send the parts right away.Well it's been a year and now they won't even reply to my request.Have sent a dozen e mails to Customer Service and Heather Menendez and all they tell me is the chair has been discontinued but I know that the parts are on the new chairs they are selling.Poor customer service. The parts I need can't cost that much but I can't find them and the chair is useless without them.I will never purchase another product they make.

When I first received my green MAC Malibu Sports Rocking Chair I thought, uh oh, I must get some professional help for my shopping addiction.As it turns out, this chair is a winner.Yes, it's kind of ugly on the patio.On the plus side, NO ASSEMBLY WAS REQUIRED, it is unbelievably comfortable and the price was more than right!There are other chairs of this type in the local discount stores.This one seems to be a better quality for the price.Try one!

"Glider" ? Chaise Lounge
As far as assembly goes it's fairly easy, maybe an hour.Comfort is good as long as one puchases a decent cushion. I have one complaint, and that would be with design. I bought two of these for the patio. One of the most comfortable chairs I have ever sat in. I hope they will last because they are not that cheap. They look durable though.

Money better spent elsewhere
I bought this swing at the end of last season at a highly reduced price.I thought for the money, the quality was OK.Or so I thought. A great wedding gift!
I purchased one for myself and one for a wedding gift.I just finished assembling mine... a couple of hours alone.It's quite easy to assemble. I was missing only one washer which will be a few cents to replace.I believe that it was an extreme bargain for the amount I paid on a Friday Sale Day Special.I absolutely adore the bench and I envision many intimate conversations in the garden.Let's hope that the newlyweds enjoys theirs as much!

Sweet, smooth silence
This swing was a belated Mother's day gift to my mother. I passed on other models in stores because they were too big for the space it would occupy in my garden or too squeaky when in use. I decided to take a chance on this one and am glad I did. The swing set was delivered within a week and I assembled within three hours with only the help of my cats (would've been quicker if I didn't suffer a momentary brain-freeze while attaching the arms to the seat.) It operates smoothly and silently with no hitches. The wood is a lovely honey color though a bit tacky from whatever it's been treated with. The reason the swing doesn't rate a "5" in my estimation is because a few pieces of the wood were dented in transit. Also, I found the canopy material somewhat flimsy and the directions for constructing the canopy not entirely clear. very disappointing
I ordered this chair for my sister as a gift. When it arrived, I was surprised that is needed to be assembled as it was not mentioned in the description. That aside, pieces were the wrong size and and the quality was extremely poor. To add insult to injury, when we called the carolina chair company they were extremely rude and uncooperative. definitely not worth the hassle.

Horrible paint quality
No problem with shipping and putting together, however, after approximately one month of placing them on our covered front porch the paint started to peel badly.If you sit in the chair and rest your arm, the paint particles stick to your skin.I can't believe this is happening when the chairs are brand new!The chairs were Christmas gifts from family out of town.I hope they don't see the chairs anytime soon as they already look about five years old!!How can I contact the company??????????

Very comfy single seating swing
I thought I'd get this in place of a porch swing, and I love it, but it's NOT a two person swing. It's very comfortable, very nice looking, and super-sized for one person, but two people in it would be extremely cozy (too cozy). Overall, I recommend it if you don't need swing for more than one.

Comfy but not so big
This porch swing is pretty darn comfortable. It's also attractive. The only problem is the following: it's not really a two person swing. On the other hand, it's not really a one person swing. Instead, it's somewhere in between. Two people can fit on the swing, but would fill it up. One person has lots of room, but can't really lie down for a nap (although a nap sitting up is a definite possibility and, given how comfortable it is, is certainly a viable option.) I don't want to suggest that two people cannot fit on the swing, but don't expect to have lots of room to spread out when two people want to sit on it.
