This will NOT fit a 65 inch grill!
I purchased this, based upon a review that stated it fit a 65 inch grill. Well, as the other customer said, it fits a 45 inch grill! Why Amazon leaves an incorrect review on the product is beyond me! THIS WILL NOT FIT ANYTHING LARGER THAN 45 INCHES....regardless of what the review says!

Doesn't fit Genesis Stainless Steel Gold C Gas Grill
Despite what it says on the Amazon web page AND what it says on the packaging itself, this does not fit my Genesis Stainless Steel Gold C Gas Grill purchased in April 2003 (it's about a half-inch too short).

I called Weber to verify the basket fits my Genesis silver B model and WEBER factory customer service informed me this item does not fit my model, which they had registered and knew what model I was referencing.The guidance on many Weber accessories is incorrect according to what Weber customer service reps. are tellingcustomers.Either Weber CS is wrong or the Weber person filling in the detail on the items is wrong.I strongly suggest Weber managment cross check all detail on Amazon for accuracy and/or straighten out their service reps..This was a bad experience and occurred on multiple accessories I was trying to buy.

22 1/2gold Green Weber Kettle Charcoal Grill
We have had Weber grills it seems forever. Our first was a kettle grill for our wedding, then after years we purchased a performer.We had to replace the performer as it was very dated and finally was time to replace. We had purchased also a Q gas grill for nights that when we came home we could just fire up the gas quickly.We missed the charcoal grill and instead of buying the new performer after many discussions decided on purchasing the 22 1/2 in kettle charcoal grill since we also used our gas Q.We did not purchase the performer as we thought since we wanted to limit our space and have it reside in a smaller place and we already used the Q it would be fine.

Great the first two times but after that...
I loved this smoker the first two times I used it but after the third it stopped working as well and by the fifth it didn't work at all.After examining all the parts, I noticed that the thermostat had burned up around the contact points.It was under warranty so they sent me a new thermostat but I was forced to pay the shipping!I used it once and examined the new thermostat and it had already started to burn around one contact point after just one use.I think I'll go back to my charcoal grill.

Great product, but add a metal stem thermometer for best results....
I've used my smoker for 7 years now and I have nothing but great things to say about it. One recomendation is to drill a small hole in the top and insert a metal stem thermometer (about $7) for accurate monitoring of the smoking. You'll get the best results when you can hold the temps at the desired levels. It also comes in handy for checking internal temps of the meat.
Finally Figured it out
Keeping this smoker up to temperature had been a chore until I invested in a heavy duty 25 foot extension cord. I bought a 12 gage15 amp 25 foot chord and I'm now actually using the thermostat to back off the temperature.

rotisserie
First motor did not work, returned the entire item.the second item arrived and the motor sounds so bad , I went out and got an after market motor to use. Everything else is fine the motor is really poor!

Motor burned out immediately
I found this to be pretty easy to put together, and was pleased with how it was cooking a 4 lb. roast (it is supposed to handle up to 10 lbs.) However within a half hour of cooking the motor burned out -- the unit was still getting power, but wouldn't turn. I am waiting for my replacement -- I will give one more chance -- so hopefully that one will fare better.

Poor performer
I waited 2 weeks for this to come to Lowes after ordering it, and the first time I used it, it turned a 5lb pork tenderloin for 2 hours before it began to stop turning.I was busy doing something while the meat was turning, and when I looked at it, it wasn't turning.A most excellent product.For what I don't know.I would nudge the handle and it turned for a few times, then stopped again.I did this numerous times.Not a good experience!

Don't clean this item!
It looks and weighs just as any hibachi I remember from several years ago - BUT I used it and washed one of the handled grills and purple/black ink came off in my hand - not a good sign.

Amazon had this grill to us within 3 days!It was to be a Father's Day present and definitely arrived in time.The only disappointments were that the unwrapped racks scared up the interior of the grill during delivery and(2)exterior utility racks were missing from the box. Ducane promptly mailed them to us.There were also a few nicks around the edge of the grill lid. The offer of a free cover for the grill during my purchase was a BIG plus!My husband is extremely delighted with the grill and it's performance! We would definitely recommend others to make this purchase! Great value for a superb grill!
