Look good in daylight,not at night!
The batteries are horrible! If they do charge they do not last over a couple of hours. The stems are very flimsy,my dogs knock them over. If I had not kept them over 30 days they would be returned. Buy electric ones you will be more satisfied. I even checked on replacing the batteries. I will probably throw them in the trash,the batteries cost more than the light set. So you might figure out if the replacement batteries cost that much ,what grade they use for this set!

Bad Service
I bought this lights and 14 out of 15 failed. I asked for replacement parts they said it will take 4 to 6 weeks. After 30 days I can not send lights back. I think they are junk. Even firefly has more light.

OK Lights
I bought these lights to outline the sidewalk by the front door of my elderly mother's home so that when she came in at night it would be easier for her to see.These lights are not bright enough to illuminate the sidewalk.They just outline the edge of the sidewalk which I suppose is a good thing, but I was hoping for more.If you are looking something to light up the sidewalk, these are not the ones to buy.

Cheaper is not better
I placed these strategically in my front yard which recieves at least 6 hours of full sun a day and only one of the lights comes on, and it only runs for an hour. You get what you pay for!

Please don't buy these lights
I have these lights for a week now. The battery goes down in couple of hours plus the intensity of the light is not that bright also.I'm trying to return them. ... Read more

Excellent Solar Product
I modified these lights to be mounted on the posts of the deck I recently built. The lights are approx. 3' off the deck floor and when lit they give off a nice subtle glow that creates an enjoyable ambience sitting on the deck on a warm summer evening. The design of these lights to run off of a single LED (Light Emitting Diode) is impressive. The globe refracts the light out away from the unit in a circular area and gives you the maximum benefit from the LED. Also on a good bright sunny day these units will charge and stay lit all night. Kudos to Malibu for such a great product. And Kudos to Amazon for an excellent price.

Not the same experience as the other two
I read the first review for this product after I had purchased the product and was waiting for it to arrive. Then I read the second review a month after I had the product. The first review really made me concerned that I was going to be unhappy with my purchase. So, before they showed up, I walked through the neighborhood and got a good feel for the amount of light shed by other solar path lights. I did this so that my expectations would be in line by the time they arrived.

Easy to install, powerful converter in the kit, good hardware. The only thing I didn't like is that water accumulates on the lens when using them in "uplight" configuration (facing up to light a palm tree for example). I don't think it's a problem, but water accumulates there. ... Read more

Works Like A Charm - No Hassle Necessary
WHo needs to manually flip on their switch nowadays. Anyone with a basic awareness of computer functionality can easily set your porch lights to go on and off at anytime of the day, multiple times of the day. Even has a cool astronometric calculation for sunset but Arizona days aren't like most because there's no DST. Oh well - still very pleased with this pick-up and good delivery.

I bought one of these thinking it would be better than the SS7/SS8. It is not!
Good timer
We purchased one of these four years ago to control our entry lights.That was the last time we touched it.The unit asks you to set the turn on - off times, and set the time and date when you install it, then you really don't have to do much else.With the auto adjust feature, it resets for daylight savings time, and one setting will automatically turn the lights on when it's getting close to dusk, then off at your preselected time - nice if you don't want to install a photocell or manually change start times throughout the year.

Excellent qualitysolar light
I have been burned on previous purchases of solar lights, especially the Home Depot Malibu lights. After installing the Westinghouse lights I chucked the Malibu lights. These lights are totally different. First: their brighter. I would guess about 2 to 2-1/2 times brighter. Granted, they have two LEDs, but that is a design shortcoming with the Malibu units. Second: they glow white,not warm white but neutral white. Much cleaner looking. Third: construction. The housing is stainless steel, most likely a 303 or 304. Excellent corrosion resistance. The bulb is glass, not plastic, which clouds-up as it ages. The electronics are well protected from the elements and will last a long time. The stand-offs are thin walled tubing which I cut in half for a neat, low look. The spike is a casting, most likely a zinc composition and is suprisingly strong. A black plastic adapter screws onto the spike which accepts the standoff and light assembly. I remove these from the spike when mowing the lawn.

This is proballya product you will open and not ever touch again. The quality of the lamps is dismal.All electical connection s have to be hand soldered by the buyer. And,oddly enough,the box containing the lamps looked faded and old,definetly a product sitting on the shelve s a long time.

box FULL of junk
I was excited to see landscape lights at a bargain price, so I jumped on this set. When it arrived, I was very surprised to see that I had to assemble EVERYTHING from cheap plastic parts.

Great value
For a 300 Watt transformer, this is a great value. I really wanted a transformer without the timer since I control my lights with an X-10 system. However, I couldn't find a better deal on a transformer without a timer. It was easy enough to pop this open and bypass the timer with some simple rewireing. Only took about 15 minutes. I gave it a 5 star rating even though it doesn't have a switch that could turn off the timer and provide a manual On/Off capability.

This is the one to buy...........

These are very well made and attractive but they aren't very bright.Of course that's usually the case with all solar lights.They look very nice in my landscaping.

I have these in the dock area.100% sunlight.But 6 ones work 10 hours per day and 4 ones work 2-3 hours per day.Replaced batteries, same thing.

Great Value
If you complained regarding this product, get a clue.It is a great value for $50.Yeah, it takes about an hour to assemble everything and it will take you a few hours to set up in your yard but if you invest the time, you WILL get great results.

Good performance
These lights are much sturdier than similar plastic lights.They provide a pleasing yellow light which is bright enough to see your way in the dark.Great for accent lighting also.I have a lot of trees around my home so they only get a couple of hours of direct sunlight, but even so, they come on for about 4 hours.Just be careful of the plastic ground stake.It can snap off if you're not careful.I think these lights are worth the money.I bought a 2nd set because I was so pleased with the first. ...
