chaise lounge
I really liked the chair, very easy to assemble and wanted another until it rained.I too had a lot of staining.I used bleach and water and it came up, but I have had to do this every time and won't be ordering another.I wrote the company and they said to saok it with a hose in the grass.I would probably have to do this for a year to get all of the stain off of it!!!!

ruined my deck
I bought 4 of these in 2005 and had them on grass. I stoered them for the winter and they held up ok. However now the tray on any of them won't slide and I moved them to my new bluestone deck. the stain leeched out all over the deck. DO NOT BUY.

Raw material
I got two of this chaise lounge chairs, but I wasn't sure what kind of wood was used for its construction. I thonk was Teak but not. After I oppened the box the only think I got knew was made it in Vietnam. I live in Mexico, a hundred milles away from the border with Texas. I kept the product anyway, just I want to know if those chaise lounge can be outdoor under the rain and sun. Thank you.I offer an apology for my english.

Can you say "RELAX"
This chair was easy to put together, it took maybe all of 10 minutes from out of the box, till total relaxation. You can sit in it or stretch the net out with your feet to it's full length and recline. I had to get two so my husband would quit taking mine. I would recommend this product.

This chair rocks!
Just got done setting it up on my apartment balcony and it is great! Already told one of my neighbors about it. Setup was VERY easy, 5 minutes. Yes it is heavy, but with the free shipping, dont worry. That weight is the metal spars, and they are very sturdy. I hope they sell a replacement hammock, as the frame looks like it will last years. It is very comfortable, I almost fell alseep in it while testing it out after setup! My only gripe is that the part where you put your head is a bit to upright for me, I was hoping for a more reclined position, but scootching around in it make it better. The hammock itself is cotton, very comfortable and sturdy, I just hope when it rains that it doesn't shrink weird. I paid 120, so at 90....get it! The most comfortable hammock I have ever been in. No bull.

Great smaller hammock!
It's comfortable, and takes up less space! We even fit it in our gazebo! I never thought my husband would sit in it, but alas, he is the one that uses it most frequently. You can sit or lie down on it. It is very strong, and so easy to put together. I actually got it up in less than 10 minutes, maybe 5. And I am not mechanical! The only complaint I have is that my head is not that comfortable when lying down. A pillow would probably help. ... Read more

OK for the money but...
...they really need to work on packaging!It came in a flimsy cardboard box and the stand was almost sagging out of the bottom.And, like others I read about in previous reviews of this product, the screw heads (plastic) were broken on my stand.The stand itself is sturdy and attractively designed.

Umbrella Stand
Sturdy and holds the umbrella without any difficulty.Only problem is that 2 of the plastic bolt heads were broken during shipping.Probably caused by the weight of the product.

Okay for now
Order was shipped very quickly.I will keep Item. Advertised hanging hardware and swivel not included. Chair could easily fray, cotten ends are only taped, not knotted. No way chair could be converted to 7 foot hammock as advertised. I should have read advertisement closer. I could have gotten 100% cotten chair for less. This ad didn't state the material used.

Two days after buying this swing i found just the exact thing I was looking for and contacted Don, the seller, about a refund. Even though it was a Sunday, he got right back to me and said he'd make every effort to cancel the order, even though it ships direct from his supplier. Lafuma--Very relaxing!
I purchased this padded recliner for my dad as a gift. He enjoys it, and so does everyone who tries it out. It is well built and moves smoothly. The only problem is the fabric covering which may fade and can stain easily.Otherwise I would recommend this item to anyone looking for a nice comfortable summertime chair. It folds up quickly for storage or transport and is light/easy to carry.

Cheap Price, Cheap Quality
I bought this hammock in Feb' 05 during a sale at amazon. (~$52)Overall I thought the hammock was ok at first, though it stretched a great deal.I bought the stand that goes with it, and even on the highest chain link, it sits very low once you get in.I'm not a huge guy, but I DEFINATELY would not put two people in it.Now it is 10 months down the road, and the hammock frayed and snapped.I used it frequently in the beginning, but only a handful of times the last 5 monthes.The only good thing about it hanging low, was that my fall was only a foot, instead of a few feet.Any idea if there is a warranty?

2nd hammock
I had first bought a hammock almost exactly like this one except it came with 2 hooks with wood-screw ends and 2 chains. It came from the "O" for over $80 over a year ago. After children excessively swinging on it consistently, the ropes had been naturally sawed off by the wood supports where the holes were made for rope access. When it had to be replaced, I chose this one. It was almost identical to the last, but did not come with the extra hardware, hammock only, but only cost $50 (w/ super saver shipping w/ i truely appreciate). this time I tightened up the knots before use, which I recommend to the buyer. ... I was very pleased with this purchase.The chairs are lightweight, attractive and comfortable.The thing I thought was a little misleading were the online photos.The product looked as though it was black in color when in fact it ischarcoal grey.The color is still nice, but I think people should be aware if this prior to purchase.

THE ITEMS WERE A DISAPPOINTMENT. I CHOSE PVC MATERIAL TO STAND THE TEST OF TIME. THESE CHAIRS PROBABLY WONT LAST A YEAR INDOORS, LESS OUTDOORS. THE WEAVE STRANDS WERE LOOSE AND UNRAVELING. I HAD TO LIGHT A MATCH TO MELT THE WEAVE IN ORDER TO SECURE THE STRANDS.THERE WERE SHORT STRANDS STUCK INTO ENLARGED SPACES. NOT A GOOD BUY.

I've priced ones that look just like these and they price out as high as $5000 for a table and 4 chairs.These were one of the smartest buys I think I've ever made in my life.I did a little research on teak oil and I bought Briwax (from their website).We are very happy with the result.

Easy assembly great chair!
Received this chair 3 days after i ordered it, awsome! quality is 100%, assembly was a breeze, and the finished product looks like a $350 teak chair. The only problem, wish the seat was a bit longer, but that is not a big problem, great buy at an amazing price for what you get, highly recommend. make sure you order the matching cushion for comfort!
