5-0 out of 5 stars Very much satisfied with Weber Q 200
Brought mine last week and already cooked thrice so far. Excellent results, cant stop loving the Weber Q 200.

4-0 out of 5 stars Some limitations
This is a good grill. However, to be honest, it is a little underpowered when compared to a good full size gas grill. That's the sacrifice you have to make when you want portability. Also, because part of the grid is the deflector shield for the flame, there are parts of the grid that are not open to below and becomes hard to clean. Finally, there is no way to beat the power and flavor of charcoal, so I still use charcoal once in awhile even though I have two gas grill.

2-0 out of 5 stars Overpriced, underpowered, faulty
Our Q200 arrived with a faulty ignition system.Since purchasing we saw a review of this item in the local paper, and their's also had a faulty ignition system. We reported the problem to Weber which quickly sent out -- a replacement, but sent the part for a different model. So we are still lighting by hand. The Weber does cook food well, but remember that unless you spring for the Q300 you get only one burner, and no warming plates -- fine if you are cooking a few burgers, but a problem if you are cooking multiple items. It means that you have to magically cook everything so that it is done simultaneously in order to keep all items warm.I can only assume that all the positive reviews come from people who have never cooked with gas before, and are thrilled at the easy and even cooking that this, and most gas BBQs provide. But anyone with experience with a larger home unit providing multiple burners will find the Q Series a frustrating experience. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars I Agree--The Best Charcoal Grill on the Market
The Lodge charcoal grill was the answer to my outdoor cooking needs. With nearly all its parts made of cast iron, this grill is made to last. It's easy to put together, and if properly cared for (don't leave it out in the rain!), will grill your steaks, chicken, fish or veggies for years to come. Its two-position grilling surface (just turn it over) is big enough for two or three people; there's a sliding draft door near the base, and a flip-down door on the side that can be opened to redistribute the charcoal. The Lodge Sportsman's Grill is easy to clean; like any cast iron cookware, the grilling surface should be scrubbed and re-seasoned on a fairly regular basis, but this is a small price to pay for such a fine product. This is one of the best purchases that I've made in some time.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best little grill you'll ever own
I hesitated on buying this grill for 2 years and sure wish I'd bought it sooner. It is worth every penny and then some.Nothing cooks quite like cast iron, with its incredible ability to hold heat it sears and adds flavor to meat like no wimpy wire grill can.Since it's preseasoned, it cleans up like a dream as well.Maintenance is a piece of cake too, a little oil now and then will keep it in great shape through most weather.
4-0 out of 5 stars really holds the heat!
I've used this grill 3 times now and so far I'm pretty happy. My only gripe is that the drill holes to attach the bowl to the bottom were not properly machined (this always seems to happen to me when I buy things that require even minimal assembly). They left a nubbin of cast iron clinging to one of the holes so it was difficult to force the screw through the partially obstructed hole.Once I got past that minor irritation and got the base attached, the grill performs fine.Definitely do spray the grill with cooking spray (not over the fire, however!) or meat will stick, even though the grill is seasoned.

5-0 out of 5 stars Phenomenal grill for camping
While we've used Coleman folding stoves for years, if you have trunk space, there is no reason on earth to limit yourself to a small stove when you can grill with this wonderful tabletop grill. The small tank makes this practical for camping. If you want real barbecue while tenting under the stars, and you camp where a tailgate or a picnic table is available, this is a great choice for camping equipment. We still like the Coleman for boiling water, but I love barbecuing on a propane grill like this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great little grill
We bought this for use at a beach house, the grills provided at the houses are always dreadful. It worked perfectly to grill shrimp, hamburgers and hot dogs.It is easy to transport and easy to use with very little assembly required.

1-0 out of 5 stars weber gas go anywhere grill going back in the box!
This "grill" is an oven in disguise. The first time we used it we left the enclosed large metal insert in place and ruined (baked)$25 worth of T-Bones. On our second attempt to grill on it we removed the large metal insert but the flames were so low that it was still ineffectual as a flamebroiling grill. There went another $20 bucks worth of beef! Not at all the happy grilling experience I remember from years ago with my original weber portable grill. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Grill.
I had seen the road trip grill once at a campground and knew I wanted one. I like it because it has burners like your home stove instead of one large traditional BBQ grill. Plus, the little stand works is great, I don't need an extra table anymore.
3-0 out of 5 stars Coleman Grill
The shipping was okay, but was surprised at the actual grill. Not quite what was expected, as it is more like a stove than an outdoor grill. It really wasn't what we wanted, but is working okay.Overall, the Amazon shopping experience was okay.

5-0 out of 5 stars A must have for campers/tailgaters/etc
We just received our Road Trip grill last week before heading to the woods of Maine for a 3 night camping trip. This grill was fantastic. We purchased the adapter hose and connected it to a 20lb tank. The grill lights with one push of the starter button and the controls are accurate. This grill puts out some serious BTU's - no issues with heat, that's for sure. The stove grate is a great accessory to have, as well as an extra grill grate. Both the grill and griddle's non-stick surfaces are as good as our expensive cookware at home. Some people may say this grill is "too heavy" but my wife had no trouble at all (she's tiny).Highly recommended. ... Just in time for the cookout season, Weber expands its popular Q liquid propane barbecue line with the Q 300 propane gas grill. This full-size model maintains and often expands upon the tabletop original's conveniences, while benefiting from more permanent patio installation. The liquid propane grill employs two 13,850 BTU burners to heat its 393-square inch cooking area, providing space for several dozen hot dogs or even a medium-sized turkey. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Top Shelf
Although I'm a diehard charcoal fan, I do believe that a gas grill has it's place.
4-0 out of 5 stars only the most minor complaints
i actually wanted to rate this 4.5 stars but couldn't.i really love this grill & probably use it 3 or 4x per week.i'll tell you that the assembly is a breeze.mine, which i did myself, took approx 90 min.my dad & i put one together (gift for mom) in about 45 minutes start to finish.it's a really nicely engineered product.my only knock on this grill is that i used to have a weber genesis silver, and it had a gauge to tell you when you were running low on fuel.this one does not.i have no idea when i'm going to go out to fire it up and realize there's no propane left in the tank.perhaps they'll add a gauge on future models.other than that, i can tell you that this grill lights easily and grills evenly.i like the layout of the burners and the option to really cook indirectly.whether this is the first grill you buy or you're already an accomplished grill master, you'll be happy with this good-lookin' weber.cheers, & happy grillin'!

5-0 out of 5 stars comparison shopping- best buy
What I wanted to tell everyone is that I did my homework before purchasing this grill, shopped around on-line at all the major outlets, and this was the best deal. Everyone except for the one famous 'auction' place had the same price, but with free shipping Amazon was the clear winner. I've always been happy with their service, and I can't say that with the auction place.

Perfect for cookouts, tailgate parties, or car camping, Weber's Smokey Joe Gold grill is the classic traveling grill. With its 14-1/2-inch-diameter grate, the Smokey Joe Gold easily cooks three steaks at a time or twice as many burgers. The porcelain-enameled bowl and lid resist rust and deliver even heat. And, when the feast is done, simply fasten the lid lock over the top handle, pick up, and go. As an added bonus, Weber throws in a 31-page owner's guide filled with cooking tips and time-tested recipes for grilling everything from pork chops to bratwurst to Cornish hens. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Little Smokey Joe
Great grill cooks quickly and evenly. There is a slightly larger unit that can be used for indirect cooking, but this one works just fine for steaks, hamburgers and the like. This is my third Smokey Joe and I will buy another when this one gets ratty enough.

5-0 out of 5 stars great little grill
This is a great little grill that Ibought for my girlfriend who lives in a small condo. Great for two people and when you put the lid back on and close the vents the charcoal goes out very fast and cools down so you can bring it back inside. Try this with the weber charcoal chimmney for quick grill meals and easy clean-up.

4-0 out of 5 stars A good value for the price but design needs improvement
A good value but the design needs improvement.By not having vents at the bottom, I feel the grill does not get hot enough. The side vents are good but bottom vents would result in better convection and a hotter grill. Not fun to clean as you need to pick up the whole unit and turn it upside down.Quality is excellent as usual from Weber. In any case I still recommend highly.

The portable Thermos Grill-2-Go offers on-the-fly grilling for people who like speedy setup, versatile cooking surfaces, and no leaping flames. Quick and simple to assemble, the Grill-2-Go breaks down into two tidy pieces for flexible storage and easy transportation. Besides its portability, the grill has several clever features, including insertable side tables (stored inside the grill between uses), a detachable grease receptacle with stopper, and storage notches for the spatula, tongs, and cleaning comb. Thermos has looked after the details, too. Rubber bumpers protect the lid if it slips out of your hand, and a built-in level tells you whether you're cooking on sloped ground. This adaptable grill suits the menu for any time of day--try eggs on the flat griddle in the morning and T-bones on the grill at night. Works with either a small fuel tank or a large tank with hose adapter. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Grill 2 Go "Advantage"
This is the newest Grill 2 Go model (May 2006).It is the "Advantage" model - 06401206.Bought this model instead of the Weber Q 200/220 portables based on a plethora of features G2G offers right out of the box, and it now has open flame grilling - a feature absent in the original G2G which will give food a grilled taste. The G2G Advantage model includes a portable rolling cart, the option for table top use (no cart), a hinged griddle plate that allows for 50/50 griddle/open flame use or 100% open flame grilling, Dupont teflon non-stick griddle, porcelain coated grill grates (dishwasher safe), a grill-based LED light for p.m. grilling (detachable for flashlight use), integrated paper towel and trashbag mounts (grocery store plastic bag), and a car window flag mounting point for display of your patriotic spirit or favorite team. The installation was easy, 95% of parts had good fit and finish (had to whittle two plastic control knobs with a pocket knife to fit properly on brass stems).Interestingly, there was no instructions on how to install the grease tray, but it is easy to figure out without formal instructions, and there is a cheesy little wire thingy on the back for holding a match to light the grill through a rear lighting portal (seems like it is included for liability protection).I plan to cut this off and use a long Bic lighter wand instead - if necessary. The grill lit on the first try with a portable 14.1 oz propane canister using the auto light knob on the front control panel - allowing open flame grilling over its large surface area or 1/2 griddle cooking. The folks at Thermos have significantly upgraded the G2G and at under $200 (My purchase price was $179) it is a great value in comparison to the Weber Q 200 series which runs over $275 when you factor in the cost of the optional cart that is not included with the Q200/220.Also, you can order an optional hose for the G2G (under $20) that will allow you to use a standard 20# tank which will save you money over the 1# cans.

As the daylight lingers longer each day, the more carnivorous folk start salivating in anticipation. Barbecue season approaches, liberating meat lovers from the less-flavorful pan-fried steak or bland poached chicken breasts. Likewise, the vegetarians in the family rejoice in the prospect of grilled summer squash or roasted beets and corn, rather than settling for another head of iceberg lettuce and canned beans. For juicy burgers and veggie kabobs at home or at the lake, industry leader Weber offers their portable Q 220 gas barbecue. This update of the popular Q 200 grill provides extra lid clearance for game hens and roasts while maintaining all the original's conveniences. The liquid propane grill employs a 12,000 BTU burner to heat its 280-square inch cooking area. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome grill!
I've had this grill all summer and I love it!It's perfect to take to concerts, tailgates, or the beach.I bought the rolling cart and it is fairly east to travel with.I use the small propane tanks which are good for 7 or 8 grills but you can buy the adapter hose to use a regular size tank.Highly recommended! Love this grill!

5-0 out of 5 stars Weber Portable Grill
I've only owned mine for a couple of weeks and have cooked on it 5 or 6 times I guess. I bought the rolling cart and hose extension so I can use the typical size propane tank, and that's all I've used thus far. I love the darn thing!! I also bought the duffle so I can carry it clean and neatly on occassion to my hunting camp if I want to, but I haven't done that yet. I am very happy with the little grill.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best Weber yet
After owning (through the years) both the larger and smaller Weber gas grills and all the charcoal kettles from the SmokeyJoe to the 22" .....THIS is close to perfection for our needs.

3-0 out of 5 stars BE CAREFUL
I had this grill for about a year, and it was great. i cooked on it all the time over the summer, and i usally use it all year round. It is a great grill , cooks well, and very easy to use / transport. It however is not easy to clean, the grill lock sucks, when moving it will the grates in there everything falls out, and the handle fell off and burned me(the plastic handle melted, way to think this threw coleman). Good thing there is that 5 year service. Well all in all they are going to replace it BUT it takes 4-6 weeks(10weeks) to get the grill, and i am sure it is going to just break again.... buy it if u dont use it daily. Do not cook too long on it, dont cook with grill top down.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Little Cooker
This is a great little grill.....Used it at a local park for a Father's Day BBQ Potluck. It was very easy to assemble (took maybe 5 minutes). Lightweight (easy to transport to/from my car).Coals stayed hot in it for quite some time (our BBQ lasted about 4 hours). Easy to clean. I would suggest it as a purchase.I purchased 2 of them (it was perfect for the 20 people who participated in the BBQ).

Set up easily, stores easily, transports easily. For grilled meals for two [skewered food, sausages, steaks, burgers, fish, corn on the cob] it has grilled more efficiently for us than our big BBQ.The folding "legs" keep the direct heat off any surface underneath. With this efficient little griller, we're enjoying patio cook-outs much more frequently than before. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Best portable grill I've had
This is an excellant portable grill and is sized well for RV usage.
5-0 out of 5 stars worth the high price
We were originally looking for a full sized grill and wanting to spend around $200, but when I started reading the reviews about the weber q series, I knew I had to have one.The size of this one is fine for the 2 of us and the food tastes way better than on any other gas bbq I've tried. It is kind of pricey, after buying the grill, the adapter hose, and the cart, we spent about $200.But it was worth it for us to sacrifice size for taste.A trick for the adapter hose: after you hook it up and open the valve on the propane cylinder, you HAVE to wait 60 seconds before trying to ignite the grill. If you don't, it triggers a safety mechanism and the flame will be uneven and may not stay lit.

5-0 out of 5 stars Terrific compact BBQ grill
Right out of the box with minor assembly it worked perfectly. The evenness of the cooking was impressive for such a compact grill. Also, the grill got hot enough to sear meat properly. ... Read more

Editorial Review

The propane Coleman party grill is easy to carry, easy to assemble, and most importantly, easy to use. If you're searching for a reliable, portable grill for tailgate parties, fishing trips, or quick backyard barbecues, don't overlook this Coleman. Besides grilling burgers, the Coleman party grill is also great for boiling: simply remove the nonstick grill and place your pot of water (or soup or veggies) on the grate to boil. Then replace the grill to prepare burgers, chicken, or even salmon. A small section of the grill is solid and flat for use as a griddle: cook morning eggs or thin slices of meat such as bacon or fish. The cooking speed is greatest in the center of the grill and slower toward the edges.Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars not portable
I never did get to take my grill camping because, once we finally got the legs inserted into the (plastic) holes in the base, we could not remove them to be stored inside...The grill with legs inserted will not go into the bag. With legs permanently attached, it cannot be considered portable...might as well get a bigger grill.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hot ticket!!
I camped down at MIS and bought this grill on sale the day before. Not only was it easy to set up once I was down there - it was perfect for me since I was cooking only for one. It was awesome to take the grill top off and be able to perk coffee in the morning and then grill burgers on it later. Definitely fill the basin when grilling, it makes cleanup a snap. The bag makes it super portable and the propane attachment is a breeze to replace. All in all a great deal and super useful.

4-0 out of 5 stars A good value if used for what it's intended
This is a great little portable grill - if you don't expect too much!(Too many people write reviews here expecting inexpensive items to be gold plated and nuclear powered). It's not meant to replace a regular full-size grill and shouldn't be compared to one.Use it for car camping or a tailgate party for cooking for two or three people (maybe four but that's pushing it) and just realize it has limitations, though they are easy to work around.

Editorial Review

Perfect for parties, this smokeless, tabletop grill from Casa Moda adds novelty and fun to any dining experience. A thick ceramic tray measuring 13-1/2 inches across both provides compartments for food storage, and serves as a foundation. Centered on the tray, a sturdy, metal pedestal houses a fuel canister while supporting the grilling pan. The fuel holder fits a 7-ounce can of chafing fuel--sold separately--and includes a heat-resistant handle with built-in snuffer. A textured grilling surface has perforations around its outer edge that allow fats and oils to drip away from food into a tray below. This grilling ensemble can prepare low-fat food, and is ideal for grilling small-sized meat and vegetables. Four included color-coded, 9-inch roasting forks round out the set. The grill top and pan should be hand washed to preserve their nonstick surface. Both forks and tray are dishwasher-safe. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I love it
Great for enjoying a glas of wine and eating slow your junks of meat, shrimps, mushrooms, vegetables,... (it takes a while till everything is done, but I heared this should be healthy).
5-0 out of 5 stars Great gift! Perfect for entertaining! Beats fondues!
My children and I use this OUTSIDE for fajitas and end up surrounded by neighborhood children and adults! We're the hit of the neighborhood and finish off our meals by popping off the top (be careful, it's hot!) by using the included forks for s'mores!
5-0 out of 5 stars So much fun for entertaining!
Whenever my ex and I had guests over, we'd break this out and serve shrimp and other meats with various seasonings.Everyone had a blast, and it's a great way to spend time with your guests instead of running back and forth to the kitchen.Just put it on the coffee table (don't worry, the bottom doesn't get hot), crack open a few beers, and let your guests have fun cooking their own food! When I moved to my own place, I ran out and bought two more of these babies! ... Editorial Review

Built to last and easy to use in inclement weather, Coleman's Propane Grill/Stove can be counted on for hot meals in the outdoors when they're needed most. The stove's PerfectFlow propane feeding system offers precision-regulated fuel flow for consistent cooking performance without flaring or flickering. A steady fuel stream cooks and grills food evenly with no hotspots, even in cold weather, at high altitudes, or when fuel is low. Coleman's InstaStart electronic ignition offers easy, matchless lighting, and lights every time, so there's no wondering if the propane should, or shouldn't, be running still. Fully adjustable cooking power up to 10,000 BTUs per burner is plenty of heat for cooking large meals in cold weather. Burners stay lit in high winds even on low flame; so it's easy to keep soups warm without scorching. Large control knobs in front are easy to turn with gloved hands. A durable, enamel-painted steel case and aluminized cooking surface mean easy cleaning and longer stove life. A heavy-duty, removable chrome cooking grate and non-stick, cast-aluminum grill grate won't warp from heat or rust in rain for years of reliable outdoor cooking. And, Coleman's folding WindBlock system folds down to double as convenient side shelving for condiments, spices, and utensils. Best of all, the stove burns for up to 4-1/2 hours on low using one 16.4-ounce propane cylinder (sold separately), which is a big help when there's a cold storm to wait out. Coleman backs this stove with a lifetime limited warranty. Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Not bad, but it runs a little too hot for my tastes
The Coleman stove works good, but as some previous reviewers have said, it runs very hot.I have to keep the burners on about as low as it goes, because the burners stay on so high, that you have to be very careful for not burning anything.I had a hard time with chicken and making popcorn (the old fashioned way) and never burn anything at home, but with this stove, you have to CONSTANTLY watch it.Other than that, it is OK and does the trick. The igniter works well. And the grill gives good taste. But I would say, it needs improvement with control of heat.

4-0 out of 5 stars Coloeman grill/stove
Very pleased with the item. It's very portable and easy to clean.Have a large Weber but the grill is one piece and very heavy. For camping, this is ideal for two people.

3-0 out of 5 stars good idea but beware teflon grill
Coleman stoves are functional and durable and a good buy when on sale. Combining a stove and grill is a good idea, but beware because this one comes with a nonstick teflon grill. I don't like any nonstick teflon cookware, but if careful, the optional griddle is okay until it starts to wear. But grills get too hot for teflon. I bought this anyway and purchased a Lodge iron grill to use instead. Nothing lasts longer than cast iron, and you can get one pre-seasoned. Once seasoned, iron works like nonstick without the danger. Both are heavy and only suitable for car camping. But the iron grill can also be used with a campfire or coals.
