Very much satisfied with Weber Q 200
Brought mine last week and already cooked thrice so far. Excellent results, cant stop loving the Weber Q 200.

Some limitations
This is a good grill.However, to be honest, it is a little underpowered when compared to a good full size gas grill.That's the sacrifice you have to make when you want portability.Also, because part of the grid is the deflector shield for the flame, there are parts of the grid that are not open to below and becomes hard to clean.Finally, there is no way to beat the power and flavor of charcoal, so I still use charcoal once in awhile even though I have two gas grill.

Overpriced, underpowered, faulty
Our Q200 arrived with a faulty ignition system.Since purchasing we saw a review of this item in the local paper, and their's also had a faulty ignition system.We reported the problem to Weber which quickly sent out -- a replacement, but sent the part for a different model.So we are still lighting by hand.The Weber does cook food well, but remember that unless you spring for the Q300 you get only one burner, and no warming plates -- fine if you are cooking a few burgers, but a problem if you are cooking multiple items.It means that you have to magically cook everything so that it is done simultaneously in order to keep all items warm.I can only assume that all the positive reviews come from people who have never cooked with gas before, and are thrilled at the easy and even cooking that this, and most gas BBQs provide.But anyone with experience with a larger home unit providing multiple burners will find the Q Series a frustrating experience. ... Full size tank fits!
I love this grill!It will always have sentimental value as I bought it on 9/11/00...it continues to work like a champ.My favorite feature is you can actually fit a full size propane tank under it as well as the small one provided to you; so, no frequeunt trips to fill up if you grill alot.

You can't beat this grill
My father spent $3000+ on a new stainless grill that he slaves to keep clean.I bought a Caddie with the idea that I could get a new one every year for the next 25 years to match his expense.Turns out our first Caddie lasted ~7 years.Lid dents, rust, heavy grease build up, etc.For $139 you can't beat this grill and my new one came with thermostat and the larger (4.5 gal) tank.I transferred the side shelves (option) over from my original.If you like lid cooking you will love this affordable high quality Q. I usually sear on high heat then turn down gas to low an put on lid - result is nothing short of excellent.

I love this grill!! It is awesome..
I can't believe how well this little grill works, it does some serious grilling. It cooks great steaks, burgers, etc. When I told my boyfriend about it, he laughed out loud. However, after using it, he admited that he was wrong and said that he couldn't believe how great this grill is.
Great Grilling
This is a great grill. I took the top screw off and opened the wire holder. Now I can use a larger tank. Works great that way. Highly recommend. I also bought the rolling cover. That too is great.

Weber Baby Q
I Bought the Baby Q for traveling and camping. This is a great little grill. I have picked up the rolling duffle bag and gas line to hood it up to a 20lb gas bottle. The first thing I did was remove the ring that holds the bottle, so I can use normal 1lb bottles. You can get the bottles made for the ring but they are smaller and more money. I have all so drilled a hole and installed a temp gauge in the front of the lid. These 2 modifications should be a give from Weber, but for some reason the are not.

I Agree--The Best Charcoal Grill on the Market
The Lodge charcoal grill was the answer to my outdoor cooking needs. With nearly all its parts made of cast iron, this grill is made to last. It's easy to put together, and if properly cared for (don't leave it out in the rain!), will grill your steaks, chicken, fish or veggies for years to come. Its two-position grilling surface (just turn it over) is big enough for two or three people; there's a sliding draft door near the base, and a flip-down door on the side that can be opened to redistribute the charcoal. The Lodge Sportsman's Grill is easy to clean; like any cast iron cookware, the grilling surface should be scrubbed and re-seasoned on a fairly regular basis, but this is a small price to pay for such a fine product. This is one of the best purchases that I've made in some time.

Best little grill you'll ever own
I hesitated on buying this grill for 2 years and sure wish I'd bought it sooner.It is worth every penny and then some.Nothing cooks quite like cast iron, with its incredible ability to hold heat it sears and adds flavor to meat like no wimpy wire grill can.Since it's preseasoned, it cleans up like a dream as well.Maintenance is a piece of cake too, a little oil now and then will keep it in great shape through most weather.
really holds the heat!
I've used this grill 3 times now and so far I'm pretty happy.My only gripe is that the drill holes to attach the bowl to the bottom were not properly machined (this always seems to happen to me when I buy things that require even minimal assembly).They left a nubbin of cast iron clinging to one of the holes so it was difficult to force the screw through the partially obstructed hole.Once I got past that minor irritation and got the base attached, the grill performs fine.Definitely do spray the grill with cooking spray (not over the fire, however!) or meat will stick, even though the grill is seasoned.

Phenomenal grill for camping
While we've used Coleman folding stoves for years, if you have trunk space, there is no reason on earth to limit yourself to a small stove when you can grill with this wonderful tabletop grill. The small tank makes this practical for camping. If you want real barbecue while tenting under the stars, and you camp where a tailgate or a picnic table is available, this is a great choice for camping equipment. We still like the Coleman for boiling water, but I love barbecuing on a propane grill like this.

Great little grill
We bought this for use at a beach house, the grills provided at the houses are always dreadful. It worked perfectly to grill shrimp, hamburgers and hot dogs.It is easy to transport and easy to use with very little assembly required.

This "grill" is an oven in disguise. The first time we used it we left the enclosed large metal insert in place and ruined (baked)$25 worth of T-Bones. On our second attempt to grill on it we removed the large metal insert but the flames were so low that it was still ineffectual as a flamebroiling grill.There went another $20 bucks worth of beef! Great Grill.
I had seen the road trip grill once at a campground and knew I wanted one. I like it because it has burners like your home stove instead of one large traditional BBQ grill. Plus, the little stand works is great, I don't need an extra table anymore.

The shipping was okay, but was surprised at the actual grill.Not quite what was expected, as it is more like a stove than an outdoor grill.It really wasn't what we wanted, but is working okay.Overall, the Amazon shopping experience was okay.

We just received our Road Trip grill last week before heading to the woods of Maine for a 3 night camping trip.This grill was fantastic.We purchased the adapter hose and connected it to a 20lb tank.The grill lights with one push of the starter button and the controls are accurate.This grill puts out some serious BTU's - no issues with heat, that's for sure.The stove grate is a great accessory to have, as well as an extra grill grate.Both the grill and griddle's non-stick surfaces are as good as our expensive cookware at home.Some people may say this grill is "too heavy" but my wife had no trouble at all (she's tiny).Highly recommended. ... Great Grill
We like the grill a lot.Good size, and easy to use.I will say, however, that it took my husband longer than the "40 minute" estimate to put it together...more like 2 hours.

i actually wanted to rate this 4.5 stars but couldn't.i really love this grill & probably use it 3 or 4x per week.i'll tell you that the assembly is a breeze.mine, which i did myself, took approx 90 min.my dad & i put one together (gift for mom) in about 45 minutes start to finish.it's a really nicely engineered product.my only knock on this grill is that i used to have a weber genesis silver, and it had a gauge to tell you when you were running low on fuel.this one does not.i have no idea when i'm going to go out to fire it up and realize there's no propane left in the tank.perhaps they'll add a gauge on future models.other than that, i can tell you that this grill lights easily and grills evenly.i like the layout of the burners and the option to really cook indirectly.whether this is the first grill you buy or you're already an accomplished grill master, you'll be happy with this good-lookin' weber.cheers, & happy grillin'!

What I wanted to tell everyone is that I did my homework before purchasing this grill, shopped around on-line at all the major outlets, and this was the best deal. Little Smokey Joe
Great grill cooks quickly and evenly.There is a slightly larger unit that can be used for indirect cooking, but this one works just fine for steaks, hamburgers and the like. This is my third Smokey Joe and I will buy another when this one gets ratty enough.

great little grill
This is a great little grill that Ibought for my girlfriend who lives in a small condo. Great for two people and when you put the lid back on and close the vents the charcoal goes out very fast and cools down so you can bring it back inside. Try this with the weber charcoal chimmney for quick grill meals and easy clean-up.

A good value for the price but design needs improvement
A good value but the design needs improvement.By not having vents at the bottom, I feel the grill does not get hot enough.The side vents are good but bottom vents would result in better convection and a hotter grill.Not fun to clean as you need to pick up the whole unit and turn it upside down.Quality is excellent as usual from Weber.In any case I still recommend highly.

This is the newest Grill 2 Go model (May 2006).It is the "Advantage" model - 06401206.Bought this model instead of the Weber Q 200/220 portables based on a plethora of features G2G offers right out of the box, and it now has open flame grilling - a feature absent in the original G2G which will give food a grilled taste.The G2G Advantage model includes a portable rolling cart, the option for table top use (no cart), a hinged griddle plate that allows for 50/50 griddle/open flame use or 100% open flame grilling, Dupont teflon non-stick griddle, porcelain coated grill grates (dishwasher safe), a grill-based LED light for p.m. grilling (detachable for flashlight use), integrated paper towel and trashbag mounts (grocery store plastic bag), and a car window flag mounting point for display of your patriotic spirit or favorite team.The installation was easy, 95% of parts had good fit and finish (had to whittle two plastic control knobs with a pocket knife to fit properly on brass stems).Interestingly, there was no instructions on how to install the grease tray, but it is easy to figure out without formal instructions, and there is a cheesy little wire thingy on the back for holding a match to light the grill through a rear lighting portal (seems like it is included for liability protection).I plan to cut this off and use a long Bic lighter wand instead - if necessary.The grill lit on the first try with a portable 14.1 oz propane canister using the auto light knob on the front control panel - allowing open flame grilling over its large surface area or 1/2 griddle cooking.The folks at Thermos have significantly upgraded the G2G and at under $200 (My purchase price was $179) it is a great value in comparison to the Weber Q 200 series which runs over $275 when you factor in the cost of the optional cart that is not included with the Q200/220.Also, you can order an optional hose for the G2G (under $20) that will allow you to use a standard 20# tank which will save you money over the 1# cans.

We received this as a gift for Christmas.Although it did a good job cooking, after 10 uses it no longer worked.In addition it was very hard to clean and had a strange odor, even after it was cleaned.

Awesome grill!
I've had this grill all summer and I love it!It's perfect to take to concerts, tailgates, or the beach.I bought the rolling cart and it is fairly east to travel with.I use the small propane tanks which are good for 7 or 8 grills but you can buy the adapter hose to use a regular size tank.Highly recommended! Love this grill!

Weber Portable Grill
I've only owned mine for a couple of weeks and have cooked on it 5 or 6 times I guess. I bought the rolling cart and hose extension so I can use the typical size propane tank, and that's all I've used thus far. I love the darn thing!! I also bought the duffle so I can carry it clean and neatly on occassion to my hunting camp if I want to, but I haven't done that yet. I am very happy with the little grill.

After owning (through the years) both the larger and smaller Weber gas grills and all the charcoal kettles from the SmokeyJoe to the 22" .....THIS is close to perfection for our needs.

Best grill ever
This grill works great and really survives the elements.It looks brand new even after a stormy winter on our Chicago balcony.I highly recommend it for smaller places because the shelves fold down and out of the way when not in use.

Fours year and still going strong
I purchased this grill for my husband four years ago and we are still very happy with it.It has held up very well.When we were having problems with it lighting the back burner, I called customer service and they were extremely helpful.They saved me buying a whole new burner set by explaining to me how to remove the tubes, check and clean them.We are now replacing the racks and flavorizer bars ($60.00) since they are just too hard to clean after all this time.I have found replacement parts at Home Depot and Lowes which is a plus to know I can easily get the parts.I don't see us haveing to buy a new grill anytime in the near future.

Great grill
This is one fantastic grill. It is easy to ignite and heats up faster than Death Valley in July. Cleaning is easy with removable parts. For maximum effect, I suggest some type of grill cleaner to dissolve the carbonized left overs. That will make your BBQ look like new. There's some assembly required which took us about twice as long as the directions say it should, but once you taste your steaks and burgers, you will never be sorry you made the purchase. ... BE CAREFUL
I had this grill for about a year, and it was great. i cooked on it all the time over the summer, and i usally use it all year round. It is a great grill , cooks well, and very easy to use / transport. It however is not easy to clean, the grill lock sucks, when moving it will the grates in there everything falls out, and the handle fell off and burned me(the plastic handle melted, way to think this threw coleman). Good thing there is that 5 year service. Well all in all they are going to replace it BUT it takes 4-6 weeks(10weeks) to get the grill, and i am sure it is going to just break again.... buy it if u dont use it daily. Do not cook too long on it, dont cook with grill top down.

Great Little Cooker
This is a great little grill.....Used it at a local park for a Father's Day BBQ Potluck.It was very easy to assemble (took maybe 5 minutes). Lightweight (easy to transport to/from my car).Coals stayed hot in it for quite some time (our BBQ lasted about 4 hours). Easy to clean. I would suggest it as a purchase.I purchased 2 of them (it was perfect for the 20 people who participated in the BBQ).

Flawed design - but saves on propane!
Well, I'd have to say this product does do what it was design to do - it cooks eggs, bacon, and pancakes fine.But, there is a major design flaw as far as I'm concerned.When you cook something with lots of grease (e.g. bacon), the grease just runs off the sides through the holes (visible in the picture) into the body of the grill with the burners are.It then ignites creating a turbo cook mode!I was able to turn the gas off completely and cook the entire meal off bacon fat.As 'green-friendly' as this maybe, I really didn't care for the approach.What a MESS to clean up!
not user friendly
We just bought the Road Trip Grill to add to our camping arsonal.We love it, but in attempting to use the griddle accessory, we found a major design flaw.It has slot-like holes all around the inside of the lip.So when the description says "great for bacon", I would not reccomend that unless you like grease fires in the morning with your eggs. Grate is Great, but MISLABLED
The Coleman grate performs entirely as one would expect.However, the box is mislabled!It states the unit is STEEL when in fact it is CAST ALUMINUM!This is important because this grate I ordered from Amazon was a REPLACEMENT for one my son left on over high heat too long and it MELTED! The new one is identical to the original including the cast aluminum composition.Otherwise the grate is perfect, if a bit overpriced for what it is.Just be carful not to get it too hot!

Nonstick surface is great when cared for properly
These grill grates are very nice, but you have to treat them the same way you treat any piece of non-stick cookware.Rule #1: no metal implements.You have to use nylon or wood implements or you'll scratch the nonstick coating off.Rule #2: use plain sponges or abrasive pads that are non-stick safe only (usually the blue pads).SOS pads and other green pads can scour through metal and will definitely remove the non-stick coating.

Gilling Heaven
After gilling on an undersized two-burner Char-Broil for ten years, I decided it was time to upgrade to a Weber.I have used the gril now for a few weeks and it is the best - for direct grilling, perfectly searing steaks, grill roasting, and even slow barbecuing.

This is a great grill.I put off buying this because I thought 36,000 BTU wouldn't be adequate for searing steaks and grilling all the foods I like to cook.I was wrong-This grill is far superior to the cheap Chinese-made 60,000 BTU,403 stainless steele grills.Design and efficiency characterize this grill, because it looks good and cooks great and lasts a long time on a tank of propane.Buy this grill, you will be glad you did.
